hell no.

so whats so fantasy about it?...from the description it looks realistic.

It isn't fantasy. It is dramatic story about competition between 2 the best conjurers of 19th century, which ends up with the mysterious death of them both.

Well, there are also some fantastic scenes, but the whole story has drama genre.

It is my favorite book

so theres no actual real magic involved?...

Casino Royale is my fav. book:)

dammit...now you made me want to read:(

how long is the book?....are we talking lotr long are average movie novel long?

Well, I haven't read the book but I'm looking forward to this film.

The novel won the World Fantasy Award, hence why I said it was a "fantasy" story. It's also a drama, there are elements of magic of course but thats not really the substance of the book, it's the two magicians. The book is 404 pages

I think Borden was better conjurer than Angier, but Angier was right in their argue.

They always make Bale the bad guy:(

Did you read the book?

I did. Bale's and Hackman's characters are not good and bad, they just have different points.

The movie will show them being both good and bad.

And Bale looks GREAT!
