Here's my question. Why the F#%* does he wear his glasses under his mask!?!

daredevil_super.jpg

I think it's an attempt to explain the message of the story in the comic.

It's like, you know, Peter Parker walking away from the trash can with his spidey suit in it, and there's this giant silhouette of Spider-man in the sky.

So I guess it's basically a lame attempt at metaphorically attempting to explain a story:dry:

But yeah, I'm pretty much pointlessly elaborating on something of little importance:word:

I think it's just old-school 'the kid's won't care' comic-book cover wonkiness, with some accidental symbolism in there.
Matt Murdock always wore his distinctive glasses, so they might have worried that the image of Matt without his glasses was not powerful enough for the cover.
So they end up with a pretty good symbolic image, he's been exposed not only as Matt Murdock, but as a blind man.

However, they could have just had his eyes all white, or would that have been too creepy?

Well, they didn't have his eyes like that inside the book, so of course they wouldn't have illustrated them like that on the cover.
I thought about making a joke about that, but decided not to in case there were any blind people reading the boards and they took offence.
