I think the Arkham scene with the bats in BB comes kinda close to it in terms of awesomeness.

Actually... as an artist myself. And even though Rapunzel looks identical to Seyfried (the other's arn't exact), I don't think the artist used real people at all.. majority of them have all the exact lines, contours, facial features, and expressions as the animated characters. I think they just constructed a realistic face around that.

I too feel he wasn't basing the looks on any particular person. They just ended up looking similar enough for people to see those actors/singers/stars.
