Just so long as they don't saddle us with more MTV-brand popunk **** like the last two movies have, I don't care.

But they've built a tradition of having a new version of the Spidey theme being performed each time. And yes, they need to do better than Michael Buble, who does not a damn thing other than shlocky covers of songs that have been covered over and over and over and over again. They would have been better off with the Brian Setzer Orchestra.

So let's see... new rendition of the old theme... non-sucky musicians... damn, this is hard. I'd geek out if they got They Might Be Giants myself. They can do no wrong.

Personally, I think U2 should be on this soundtrack somewhere. Something out of "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb", preferably City of Blinding Lights,

If you're leaning towards U2, I guess Blinding Lights could be used somewhere in the end.
But more a most excellent brand of choice I'd have to go with Paint It Black.
