Cecelia was apparently killed off panel in Neverland, though it was never showed in the comics. I keep hoping someone comes in and shows otherwise.

Throw in Dr. Rao for a Medicinal Three-Way.Cecelia Reyes still needs to come back so she and Beast can have hot, steamy doctor-sex.
Eh, her powers weren't really that great anyway. Wasn't it just a personal force field or something? I liked her more as a doctor. She showed up in NYX, set after her supposed death in Weapon X, but no mention was made of whether she retained her powers after M-Day or how she escaped from Neverland.
Did she really? I don't recall that. What was her role in it? And was that the original NYX or the new one that just came out?

Cloak and Dagger have always maintained a reputation as loners, and Fraction admits that fact made it all the more appealing to see how they would react in a team scenario.
"They're fish out of water because they're not team players, and suddenly they're on a team," the writer points out. "They're taking orders and they're in front of cameras and everything they've spent their lives avoiding they're [now] forced to endure in the interest of being able to stop being hunted. And of course, like every deal with the devil, there's a price."
And that price may have the two questioning their involvement with as the story goes along, as Fraction admits that "they each have moments of asking themselves and asking one another, 'Is this a good idea?'"
Beyond what they bring to the team dynamic, Fraction also wanted to make them a part of the Dark X-Men and "Utopia" in order to shine a larger light on the two characters.
"I think they're tremendous characters, I think they've got a great history and I think they're ripe for this current era we're in," expresses Fraction. "I wanted to use this as an opportunity to dust them off and put them front and center."
According to Fraction Cloak and Dagger don't feel a part of the mutant community that has recently become so concentrated in San Francisco, but that may begin to change with the upcoming crossover.
"No, they don't [think of themselves as part of the mutant community], and that's the thing: in a time when there are so few mutants left, can they afford to not at least acknowledge the existence of this community, this family?" asks Fraction. "I mean, they're not 14 and 15 years old anymore. They're a little older and beginning to sense that like teenage runaways
maybe isn't the wisest, most advisable, [healthiest] way to live a life. And then suddenly they're presented with this opportunity [to join the Dark X-Men]."

Ironically, they had a semi-decent villain in their second RUNAWAYS appearance, an obsessed fan of Dagger who used MGH to duplicate Cloak's powers to kidnap her from a hospital. It wasn't bad. Seriously, Vaughan likely had a soft spot because some of the better Cloak & Dagger stories came out of his years on RUNAWAYS.
Last I heard about C. Reyes, she was MIA and her brother had joined SENTINEL O*N*E* loosely to try to find her. Not sure what happened to that. For most writers, though, Beast is "enough" of an "all purpose doctor/smart guy" on the team, like Iron Man or Reed Richards, so that he does any task that needs a PhD.

.
I read that story years ago, so I don't remember, but wasn't that guy killed at the end of the story?
Regardless they really need more of an established rogues gallery, Silvermane and Shriek seem to have the most personal history with Cloak and Dagger out of the established MU villains, so it make sense for Cloak and Dagger to fight those two, even though they can use a bit of a revamp (like getting rid of that stupid cyborg Silvermane.)
I didn't recall the imposter dying. Even so, they could just say his MGH had side effects. Death? Permanent?
As for Silvermane, I always wondered why he didn't just become more cybernetic like Donald Pierce or even the Terminator. Instead he just keeps relying on 80 year old organs in his piecemeal cybernetics. Lame!
The g/f and I should be C&D for Halloween![]()
Man Mountain Marko died in AGENTS OF ATLAS #1. A resurrection would probably involve a giant stomach pump.![]()
Is that the NYX appearance? Terrible art.
I remember Luke Cage's old lady beat the crap outta that guy in Alias.
