The Return of Limp Bizkit

None of them have any talent, except maybe Wes, who f**king squanders it playing underneath Dursts juvenile, ******ed lyrics.

You mean you weren't a fan of the "I want to sniff on them panties now" from Eat You Alive?

Gimmie something to break!
Gimmie something to break!
How 'bout yo' f**kin' face!?!

I stand corrected. The man is the greatest poet of our generation. Seriously though, most rappers would look at his lyrics and go "...Really? That's all you could come up with?" Soulja Boy probably mocks Dursts lyrics.

I liked Limp Bizkit in middle school. But then i wasn't in middle school anymore, so... yeah. Plus, even me back then thought they were complete garbage after Significant Other.

Sometimes i wish i could go back in time and hand myself like a minor threat album or like, Milo Goes To College and save myself the trouble of listening to ****** music. Oh well.

chocolate starfish and the hot dog flavoured water = fail album title

i still think My Way was their only really good song

but then again i liked Limp Bizkit..... WHEN I WAS 10 YEARS OLD

Limp Bizkit...they're a good band...FOR A CLOWN TO LISTEN TO!

3$ Bill Yall and Significant Other (to a lesser degree) are still 2 of my fav albums. After that it just depended on the idividual songs. Like I thought Boiler was an awesome song off of Chocolate Starfish and I've always loved their cover of Behind Blue Eyes. I will agree though that Durst's lyrics were always a bit simplistic and to the point without any real depth but alot of the stuff I can relate to and thats whats important to me when it comes to any music is that its something I feel like I can relate to whether its rap/hip hop or metal.

I was once a fan, when I was a kid and all I cared about was stuff that sounded good that is. I put on chocolate starfish again a few weeks ago and while it still sounds good, it is unbelievably commercialised. Every second line Durst is name dropping the band name or referring to some other horse****. The lyrics aren't worth **** and as a result it's not an album that lasts the test of time.

Still though, give me LB over those Blink 182 tools any day of the week. :cwink:

I loved this band when I was thirteen. I have not been thirteen for some time now.

wow, hell HAS frozen over...

My interesting in this is kind of on the fence. A part of me wants to hear new Bizkit for nostalgia's sake and the other part of me knows its all ****

^ agree.

1% nostalgia, 99% not caring/know its dated/its all ****

And from what I can tell, they're never gonna release the goddamn album anyway

Yea. If they had just given a clear reason as for why it's not out all ready, I could get behind it- but no... One band member say's one thing, another contradicts it. Atleast they're out touring.
Even though the only show that's been cancelled on this tour was the one I was going to. :cmad: That was six hours out of my day I'm not getting back.:csad:

i wonder when this album will be released and the sales...

2010 isn't looking so much like "Year of the Cobra" as Durst suggested.

I don't think 2011 or 2012 will either. In fact, I wonder if they have a new album at all. Seems a bit odd to delay an album this much (unless your G&R)

Doubtful. Creed and Limp Bizkit were two of the most successul bands in music. There is no reason for them to be low on cash right now. Scott Stapp and his former bandmates still get royalties from Creed merchandise, his former bandmates formed Alter Bridge which proved to be a successful band.

Believe me, none of these bands are hurting for money.

im sure the royalties limp bizkit receive arent much to brag about. its not like their music has been in any sort of demand for years, and they dont have merch to sell, nor do you hear their music placed in any media. what little money the band does generate, im sure a larger portion of it goes to the label that owns the rights to their music. and while whats left thats split among the band could fund a reasonable lifestyle, its probably nothing grand.

P.S. the world would have been a better place had limp bizkit never existed.

I can't figure out why Wes Borland joined back up with them. He was playing in his own band, Black Light Burns, which was vastly superior to LB. And then Marilyn Manson asked him to play with him. Wes decides to join LB again anyway. Crazy.

Well, he said he wanted to be a part of a band and that he only could do that with LB. Not just be a hired guitarist for Manson...

And He's probably working on a new BLB CD now. Speculating of course.

I hope he's still doing BLB stuff. They were fantastic. If LB isn't gonna drop this record they need to let Wes do BLB

I was told by a friend that he heard the studio thinks LB has no hit songs on the new CD...

I heard some of the sneak previews Durst was offering and I wasn't overly impressed. Bit too much noise, not a lot of melodic stuff going on.

First video off Gold Cobra... and in true LB fashion. It's silly.
