That's Awesome!!!:woot:

Replace Selma Blair with Olivia Wilde, and that'd be a great cast and poster.

Agreed.:woot:

These are ball-bustingly awesome.

These are Sweet!!!:wow:

That's what Nolan does. He picks usual "good guys" to turn them into villains (Robbin Williams in "Insomnia", Liam Neeson in "Batman Begins", Heath Ledger and Aaron Eckhart in "The Dark Knight"). It would be interesting to see Knightley as a bad girl.

No, you misunderstand me... I think she's totally unfit to be Ivy. She's skinny as hell and I really never got into her as an actress. So, I guess what I should really be saying is: No to Knightley for anything.

wouldn't it be awesome if norton were cast as riddler? it would be a big two fingers up at marvel for shafting him as hulk, heh.

the only thing i don't like about that poster is batman's costume, they gotta improve it by the next film, i'm sick of this techy, busy design

OK, so I changed the actress just for you ! Is Eva Green a better choice ? :D
I modified the colors a little too.

well, the Poison Ivy poster is a cool visual....Well done! the others I'm not to keen on. esp. the above poster that has Catwoman with her back to the viewer(?). Plus I've never been a fan of the "colored suit jacket" manip for Riddler. I also hope the lame, romantic sounding "The Dawn is Coming" line is not included in the real movie poster.

If the Nolan series of Batman films stays at a trio then the dawn is coming tag line seems quite worthy of a poster. As for the suit jacket, I don't think bright colours would work but a muted green would def be fitting for the character, especially in Nolan's "realistic" inturpretation of the DC universe. I can't imagine the Riddler character being very physically active in the film (like the Joker was), more of a back seated character orchestrating the pawns. A character with a huge ego to match his intelligence would be suited n booted (...again showing a difference between him and the Joker). I think the joker exposed Batman/Bruce's weaknesses throughout TDK, cracks in Bruce's secret are becoming more noticible, and of course the police are now treating Batman as high priority...all of this should be taken advantage of by the Riddler character and we should see Batman pushed to the very edge

"The Dawn Is Coming..." is a neat idea for the teaser tag line.

It's Catwoman's shadow:cwink:

That's Awesome but if Ivy is gonna be in the movie they should get Amy Adams to play her.:woot:

The texture gives an overall organic look to the poster, and Batman's silhouette merging with the hair is a great use of design. Although, I have a question... Why clovers?

Well after being absent for such a long time from the Fan Art department, I'm proud to present my latest work, inspired by the news of Tom Hardy being cast,

Shadow of the Bat:
DEADSHOT

INTRODUCTION:

As Tom Hardy has been cast for the 'Batman Begins' and 'The Dark Knight' final sequel, a lot of suggestions of who he might or in some cases SHOULD play. One of the most vocals has been Deadshot (second only to Black Mask.)

So having the natural charm of Hardy, as seen clearly in 'Bronson' and 'Inception', Deadshot could work as comedy relief and simultaneously pose a physical threat to Batman could balance the tragedy that comes with the events surrounding 'The Dark Knight'.

As Batman is a gadget and martial arts genius, Deadshot is a weaponry one.

DESIGN:
Being one of those not-that-but-still-a-little-obscure rogues, it will depend a lot in the performer and the costume design, how attractive to the audience the character will be. In this case, Deadshot's costume is really adaptable to Nolan's universe. He's a master marksman that prefers wrist-mounted guns. So the only thing that may look out of place would be the guns, but the overall look of Deadshot in the movie can be really loyal to it's comicbook counterpart.

From the poster series:

THE PENGUIN

I'll post a yellow-gloved version later, stay classy forum.

Those are brilliant! Really well done. Penguin and Riddler are my favorite.

My inspiration for this artwork was the Poison Ivy cover in "A Long Halloween" comic book, this chapter setting during the St. Patrick's Day.

I still think Christian Bales batman is way to dark to be chilling with superman. In the cartoon with conroy/daly{newbern} it seemed like they could have a convo, i can't see batman talking to any superman the same way lol

p.s. great manip though!

I've always envisioned a kick-ass version of Poison Ivy played by Rose McGowan.

You Deadshot if by far my favorite one you have made; clever idea to use Kroenen's mask from Hellboy. :woot:

p.s. great manip though!

I don't know, I can see them talking to each other. I see their early interaction being like that in The Man of Steel. Superman goes to Gotham to help arrest Batman, and finds that they are not that different from each other. Batman I can see treating Superman like a child at first because of the whole boy scout act. I see their later encounters being like The Dark Knight Returns. They respect each other, but Bruce still looks at Clark as being naive. An odd couple of sorts, but perhaps as a team it is one of the few times they can be themselves.

Bruce in the movies could use a friend like Clark and any Justice League member. He could be the real Bruce around them and not the playboy image Gotham sees him as. Clark has Lois, the Kent's and Lana to be himself around. Bruce only has Alfred.

Batman and Superman could be the greatest movie team up of all time.
