You can see Storm break a little when she says that...aww....

'Awwwwwws' with you

(Love your avatar!)

No Problem ^^

Wasnt there a picture released of Wolverine pushing Storm against the wall when he was about to search for Jean?

Storm sounded jealous when she said "Beacuse you love her", it sounded like a reproch (spelling?).

I think there's missing ROLO scenes. I recall in the past when Hugh Jackman said on EXTRA that Logan and Storm go on a little date of sorts in X3, or something like that. He hinted at Logan taking off Storm's bra, but he was joking at the last part. And even in an early interview with the cast Hugh mentioned something about ROLO

That "because you love her" scene seemed so out of place, emotion-wise. Maybe there are other scenes that support the reason why Storm looked dissapointed.

that woulda been SOOOO great if they kissed!!!!

they best be makin some spin offs!!!

I think Storm might have feelings for Wolverine . {they hinted @ this from since the first movie.} However I don't see any chance for them becomining an item .

For one thing Wolverine loved Jean . And for another with Storm taking over as leader of The team . I don't think she has time to have a romantic relationship with Logan .

If you read the novelization version it makes more sense and there are more RoLo scenes. to me the book did seem different from the movie and there could be missing scences cause some things seemed off

After watching the film, would you recommend the novelization?

Would someone put up some scenes? Since I don't have access to books, I'd like to know what did I miss.

I am sick of wolverine hijacking the series. Its Xmen not the Wolverine show. People read Xmen for a reason: family bonds of the characters and plight of mutants not because of wolverine.

They should have downsized his role and just focused on his sequel which i will not see.

I could be wrong...but I think the door has been opened in X3 for this relationship now. Mainly because the Jean/Logan deal has been closed with finality--obviously due to the fact that Jean is dead. Logan will mourn her loss, but I think Storm could help him cope with that. And since she's taking the Headmistress role, I can see Logan and Hank staying on as her deputees of sorts...giving plenty of opportunity for Logan and Ororo to develop something even closer.

The seeds are planted. What do you guys think?

I don't see it happening. If there's an X4, I think it'll be Storm and the X-kids with, at most, a cameo from Wolverine.

One of the issues with the first three is they cast Logan/Wolverine as a leading man and after a while this becomes limiting. They can't turn him into a supporting character but it seems contrived to make him the lead in every story.

If the Wolverine spinoff is a prequel, then there's no place for Storm.

Strangely, though I hate rom-coms, I'd be intrigued by a Hugh and Halle pairing in a comedy.

For shizzle, I really agree. I just want to see some ation between them, it mushes me up so much. They must be really close friends in real life

^ Nice avvy.

After reading excerpts from the novel (now on order, damn Marvel taking my money) and what could have been put onscreen I really wish that Claremont had written the dang movie. :p I do feel like the seeds are planted, but whether we see them onscreen...doubtful.

I was just thinking of what Lightning Strikez! wrote. Yes, there's room for Storm and Logan, biut Logan's just killed Phoenix. Wouldn't Storm have to wait a little to bit for Wolverine to recover just out of courtesy? Like someone's just broken up with someone and it's taken a toll on them?

These are some Rolo scenes from the novelization

Danger Room :

And suddenly, there was no time for conscious thought at all as she sensed movement in the air-that same massive shape she’d noticed before, only much, much closer. How had it crept up on them so unawares? Realization and action came as one as she grabbed for her friend and teammate and yanked him bodily clear of the car, just as a massive armored foot size of a semitrailer squashed it flat. They ended up face-to-face, tight against each other, and for that briefest of moments that was all that mattered.
“I got this” said Storm, as the foot moved on. Through the smoke and the shadows of literal fog of battle, none of them was in position to see what it was attached to. The younger X-Men weren’t sure that wanted to.
“Watch my back, okay?” she old him.
“Not a problem” he replied.
It was a spectacular back, Logan thought, even masked as it was by the cloak of her uniform. To call Ororo Munroe beautiful was merely to state the obvious. There was no one-among the X-Men, in the world-who even came closer. Except, the thought came to him, memory of a wound still fresh enough to hurt : Jean Grey.
“Hey, bub,” rogue chided gently, “eyes front, right?”
He slid a look her way which made her grin.

This is the whole ‘Because you love her scene’ :

“Why?” Ororo cried out, and then, with even more intensity, “Why?” why can’t you accept the truth?”
“Not my truth, ‘Ro”
“Damn it, Logan, why can’t you just let her go?”
“Because….” he said, and found himself completely at a loss for words. “Because….”
Her shoulder slumped and the air between them grew calm. She looked at him with more sorrow and sympathy than he’d ever seen in another’s eyes- at least directed at him.
“Because you love her”
He nodded.
“Logan,” Ororo told him, “Jean made her choice” He started to protest but she stopped him by laying her fingertips across his lips, a gesture that seemed to him very much a caress. It came to him in that instant that he wasn’t the only one held by the grip of primal emotions.
“It’s time to make ours,” she said. “If you’re with us, then make sure your with us.” She shifted her grip, sliding her hand down from his lips to cup his jaw in a way both tender and achingly intimate, revealing far more of herself with these few movements than she’d done in all the time he’d known her.
“I’ve now lost two of my oldest friends, and the only father I’ve ever really known, I don’t want to lose you too”
With that , she left him.

The Final Battle

He held out his hand, with the ampoules he’d gathered. Ororo picked up the cue as if they were both telepaths.
“Best defense is a good offense?”
He grinned and thought she looked good enough to kiss, and she thought how much she’d like him to try.

~

“’Ro,” and he reached out to lat surprisingly gentle fingers against her cheek, thumb stroking an invisible piece of grit from beneath her eye, in a gesture so light and tender that she barely felt it, yet which sent an unexpected surge of electricity the length of her spine, straight to the core of her being.
“I know it’ll be hard, but we need some cover.”
Her eyed danced back at his, accepting the challenge , and they turned from a warm and welcoming brown to a blue that started as deep as the most magnificent sky before paling to an artic blue-white. He felt some hairs on his body rise, saw that McCoy felt the same-although there was a special undercurrent to the sensations he felt tat he would always keep to himself-as Storm brought her energies to bear, smelt and tasted that faintest hint of ozone.

Thank you very much, Snowangel! I can't wait on July 27th when my copy of the book will arrive! :D
