Runtime of movies is very, very important. All of the other Spidey movies are over 2 hours. What do you want the runtime to be for this movie? I would at least like 2 hours but I have a feeling that this movie won't be over 2 hours. If I had to guess, I would say around 100 minutes. I knew Wolverine would be short and it was a 100 minute crapfest. I don't want Spidey to be anything under 2 hours.

hahahaha! what a subject!

uh i'd be happy with 2 hours. depending on the subject matter. i don't want to see Peter crying for 2 hours, and i don't want to see Spider-Man fighting (pure action like Transformers) for 2 hours. i want a good mix of story and action. in 2 hours.

A superhero flick does not have to be 2 hours to be good though. If a director, writer, producers, and cast can make their story work in less than a 2 hour run time and flow coherently and perfectly, then that's that.

It's just so far, we haven't really had anyone whose been able to do that. Granted most of those tries were at Fox where Rothman micromanages every step of any adaption.

That made me laugh.

I hope the runtime is over two hours. I have not had very good experiences with films under two hours recently.

Hahaha. It was just a bit empty, lol.

I would imagine it to be around 120-140 minutes.

My threads were empty and closed on the account of me not using the search properly BTW.:cwink:

200 minutes. I expect nothing less!

But in all serioussness, at least two hours, nothing under. I feel as if I'm getting rippsed off when something is under two hours. Although X-Men is the exception.

I just get this feeling that Sony is going to go Fox-like and cut as many corners as they can because they know this will make money no matter what. Shorter run time = costs less money and more showings in a day.

Well, they did budget this at 80 million. I think we all know it's gonna make alot more than that. That's around what the first film used to be until they hiked it up.

Can't explain it but I have that same feeling too.
