After Mania I gotta start watching New Japan. I'm about done with WWE.
Some more NJPW gifs would be welcome.

I'm surprised WWE hasnt made a King Arthur parody focusing on The Golden Shovel instead of the Excalibur with HHH in the lead role. HHH already considers himself a "King" so why not? lol

I think that's one of my old gags. Or Paul as the evil Shhheriff trying to capture that fighter for the people, the hood PUNK.

Great seeing Taker out of character and get interviewed on Trip's documentary,Him dressed Big Evil Taker was cool too

That's in case you have unexpected company and need 3 more beer coasters.

Three of those discs are him smashing guitars. The other one is a Vince Russo and him laughing at the fans.

So Metallo and NextNolan, I have two questions for y'all:

1. Will you be around to participate in the Fantasy Tag Team Tournament on this board next Saturday?

2. If you can take things from different Eras and fuse them into one for your ideal wrestling product, what would those things be?

John Cena - Vs. Helmsley at 22 (Although I really enjoyed the rematch against Rock at WM 29)

CM Punk - Vs. Undertaker at 29

Randy Orton - Vs. Undertaker at 21

Ric Flair - Vs. Savage at 8

The Rock - Vs. Austin at 17 (although 15 is a forgotten gem)

Steve Austin - Vs. Maivia at 17

Bret Hart - Vs. Michaels at 12

Triple H - Vs. Undertaker at 17

Hulk Hogan - Vs. Savage at 5

Ultimate Warrior - Vs. Hogan at 6

Batista - Vs. Undertaker at 23

Undertaker - Vs. Edge at 24

Shawn Michaels - Vs. Hart at 12

Reminds me of how Jarrett's TNA dvd, and how it was 4 discs long

Only difference is King Of The Mountain had a better match listing than Thy Kingdom Come!

That would suck. They tried the rebel joining the authority angle once with Austin and it fell flat.

I agree. Both are rebels and independent minded. They might be heels but they'd never be heels that would follow someone else.

Bryan would get screwed and no one would want to boo Punk doing that. I think a lot of people would be the wrong kind of pissed off. It's why guys like Rock and HHH were good corporate champions. It fit the kinds of heels they were. They seemed like the types that liked the finer things and the perks of money and power.

1. Hmm...probably not

2. Top guys from various eras and promotions. Hogan vs the Horsemen in one company? Print the money. The NWO vs Austin? Print more money. The late 90s tag division. The late 80s midcard/IC title scene. The mid 90s WCW cruiserweight division. The mid 2000s WWE women's division and the 2009 KO division. The mid 2000s X division. The specialty matches we had by the mid 2000s. The announce team of the late 80s mixed with JR and The King. Maybe Gorilla and Ventura Heenan on Raw. JR, King, and Heyman or JBL on Smackdown. The production values of today's WWE. Patterson as head booker. Heymans feel for popular culture in wrestling and media. Cornettes presentation of realism in the in ring product. Bischoffs mind for television production. McMahons large idea thinking for promoting. JR in talent relations. The 80s use of celebrities. If someone could get all that stuff to gel and work together it would be a cool show.

What would you guy's say is each wrestler's best Mania match? I think I'd break it down like this

John Cena-WM23 WWE Title Match vs. Shawn Michaels
CM Punk-WM29 Streak match vs. Undertaker
Randy Orton-WM27 vs. CM Punk
Ric Flair- WM8 WWE title match vs. Randy Savage
The Rock- WM17 WWE title Match vs. Steve Austin
Steve Austin- WM13 I Quit match vs. Bret Hart
Bret Hart-WM12 WWE title Iron Man match vs. Shawn Michaels
Triple H- WM20 Triple Threat World Title Match vs. Chris Benoit vs. Shawn Michaels
Hulk Hogan- WM5 WWE title match vs. Randy Savage
Ultimate Warrior- Retirement match vs. Randy Savage
Batista- WM23 Title vs. Streak vs. Undertaker
Undertaker-WM25 vs. Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels- WWE Title Iron Man match vs. Bret Hart

That's what I remember for now.

I think you've nailed it for those guys. What about a few others like Foley, Edge, Angle, Savage,

- Jake Roberts, the master of the DDT, gave props to Cameron for her DDT on Monday's RAW and says Randy Orton could learn from her. Here's what he tweeted:

"About time the DDT worked again. Cameron, show the others how its done. No one kicks out a real DDT. Maybe I have to show them myself. @WWE"

"Looked good Orton...but you did something wrong. Get with Cameron."

Hulk Hogan: Vs Savage, WM5
Randy Savage: Vs Steamboat, WM3
Bret Hart: vs Austin, WM13
Shawn Michaels: vs Hart, WM12
Steve Austin: vs Hart, WM13
The Rock: vs Austin, WM17
John Cena: vs Michaels, WM23
Batista: vs Undertaker, WM23
CM Punk: vs Jericho, WM28
Undertaker: vs Michaels WM25
Triple H: vs Benoit vs Michaels WM20

It really is. Tha guy needs to use his knowledge and power for the betterment of the business and not just himself and his boys.

Uh yes ... Certainly he has been solely overseeing FCW/NXT on his own for the last few years so he can take care of the Kliq. It all makes sense.

Roberts is spot on. The DDT could be someone's finisher, instead its become a transition move sloppily done by everyone.

Someone needs to do for the DDT what Roman Reigns has done for the Spear.

I cosign those picks

It's too soon to say if that's paying off yet. Some of his own personal signings and pet projects have flopped. And having bodies on the roster to keep the machine going is one thing. Overseeing the crafting and training and rise of legit stars and talents is another.

Gotta admit, that DDT was pretty polished and awesome by Cameron. I hope Cameron knows who Jake Roberts is. :funny:

Dean Ambrose would be the guy to bring the DDT back into prominence as a surefire finisher.

They also need to get rid of the multiple finisher kickout spots that you see nearly every week. Make it a rarity again.
