The SDCC Thread (Pic Heavy)

i hope they don't cancel ultimate x-men, its not as good as it has been right now, but I'm still enjoying it. just needs a new writer that isn't so obsessed with cliffhanger endings.

That would be...but they are building to the Huge staory that's been building since the beginning.....Ultimate origin...

So they wont kill em off until then.

And they are already drawing issues of Ultimates 3 and Ultimates 4....soI don't think that they will be killing the universe anytime soon....but I do know that Ultimates 3 and Ultimates 4 will be shipping regularely.

well with delays in ultimates and hulk vs wolverine

FF, x-men, and spidey all sucking... i think the ultimate universe will end... hopefully by marvel zombies invading and killing everyone.. that'd be a great ending

well i like that Stuart Immonen is the new artist on the book, i think the book need change. but not to be canceled (atleast not yet). also i'm looking foward to joe mad's return to comics in ultimates 3

I heard also they might scrap ultimates 4 aswell. but these are just rumors

your apparently one of the few
too many people hate bendis, just cause somebody else hates bendis. like its the cool thing to do. so they never alot at his work. just his name. this really doesn't have to do with anything about people not enjoying ultimate spider-man. but still

my point, which has nothing really to do with ultimate spider-man. is that how many people gave bendis **** for killing hawkeye ? but before hawkeye died, how many people even gave a **** about him ? he had many try at having his own title, all failed. but once he died, it was like bendis killed jesus in the comic world

i think they said he only done the first issue. which they might scrap

Ultimates with millar was awesome.but was always late.I don't read Ultimate FF.ultimate X-men is good but was at it's best under Brain K. Vanghan.Ultimate Spider-man has been and miss.It misses alot.

Ultimate X-men was at it's best Under millar....for the first 20 or so issues....Wolverine Pitching Cyke off a cliff was classic...then Cyke joining the Brotherhood...

Were there any pics of the Sunstreaker,Sideswipe and Octane figures for the Transformers Classic (Universe) line coming next year?

Yes the concept sketches were. And unlike at Botcon you could take pictures.

They are all going to feature a similar gimmick to what Classics Prime and BB had. Parts of them pop off and transform into weapons.

those transfomer classics concept art looks cool. I hope they do more dinobots though. And I know they have done a few of the jets, but have they done thundercracker yet? The blue jet?

The only mass retail Jets that there are going to be are Starscream, Skywarp, and Ramjet. Well there is always the chance of a Sunstorm. The other three jets (Thundercracker, Thrust, and Dirge) were part of this years botcon set. They were part of the box set with Bugbite (Bumblebee repaint) and Dreadwing (re-paint of Jetfire with a new head).

So unless Takara puts out their own version of the Classics (yeah right). Your never going to see a classics T-cracker for less than $150 on ebay.

Man that sucks. I really want thundercracker. That's not fair at all. I hope they re-release it and make it come out with the other TF classics. Same with Thrust and Dirge. That really sucks.

Never gonna happen. The contract that Hasbro has with Fun Productions, the company that runs the Transformers collectors club and organizes Botcon, is ironclad. It says that any new molds that come out of a convention set are property of FP. And that Hasbro can never retail any of the convention exclusive characters. So if Hasbro wanted to produce a classics T-cracker/Dirge/Thrust they'd have to produce a new mold.

Like I said, Takara is the only sliver of hope for the other 3 jets using the classics SS and Ramjet molds (however slim that is). As it's happened before that a convention exclusive of one company has been released mass reatail by the other. You see Takara released the reissues of Thundercracker and Skywarp as a convention exclusives (it's why you never see TFC versions of them anywhere). While Hasbro relased them at retail.

EDIT: Here's a group shot of all 10 Botcon '07 exclusive figs, plus Vector sigma.

Man that strikes my nerves. I might end up trying to ebay thundercracker. Though maybe I'll be wiser by not doing so b/c of the high price. I want the other two jets, but I'd hate to not have thundercracker.

Oh well, at least I got my soundwave.
