Glad I got outta TF Classics because I'd be pissed not having the jets.
That's cause it's not actually Soundwave, it's Soundblaster coloured blue. Soundblaster being a Soundwave remold (the holding 2 tapes thing) who's black.I just bought the soundwave TRU re-release, well it's a little changed I think, but anyway I got that last night. I actually knew nothing about it. Wish I didn't let it slip through my fingers the first time.
Also these are getting released this month (hopefully).

Gots me a pre order for Prime, Megs, and SS.
Most places that sell TF's online have them. BBTS, TFsource, Toywiz anyone. But as your probably in the US, any US based site will open Megs and glue in a orange cap. And if you go outside the US the customs my sieze him (heard quite a few horror stories about MP Megs coming into the US). I got my Megs preordered from agesthreeandup.com, a Canadian website. Canada doesn't have the same toy gun laws. My Encore (that's what they're called) Megs will be MISB when he gets to me.Where can I pre order these? I need a megatron.
What do you think about soundwave though. Do you think the one I will be getting, the TRU one in the mail is just as good? I already have Prime and SS. I got them the first time around.
Hasbro was asked this point blank at Botcon. They said no. Why? Tak//to "lost" the molds. This means they either can't find them, are damaged, or someone else has them. And since the Dino's are not popular in Japan Tak/To has no intertest in getting the molds back. That's how reissues work. Tak/To does a run and Hasbro either gets in on it or doesn't.SpiderHulkThing said:And in case any hasbro reps read these threads,
we NEED THE REST OF THE DINOBOTS.
At least Slag and Sludge. But Snarl is cool too. And swoop.
$34.99 from NA based sites.FEAR THE BAT said:How much is that Starscream?????????????????????????

Now TRU Soundwave is great. I got him from a Hong Kong toy site, months ago. The extended buttons and tape case aren't that noticeable. He displays great, it's freaking Soundwave. Plus you get Ravage and Laserbeak with him.

That's about $10 less.
Yes the concept sketches were. And unlike at Botcon you could take pictures.

They are all going to feature a similar gimmick to what Classics Prime and BB had. Parts of them pop off and transform into weapons.
The first wave of Classics 2/universe is going to be 8 deluxe figs, and 3 or 4 ultras. The car brothers are deluxe. Hasbro also said it would more than likely do Prowl, Jazz, and Ironhide. Galvatron is a maybe, and he won't be just a Megatron repaint. Thanks for the pics, my hope is they continue this series past these three figures, as there are many Autobots and Decepticons I personally would love seen remade, like Hound, Trailblazer, Windcharger, Wheeljack, Blitzwing, Shockwave and Soundwave.
I was lucky enough to win a Botcon 2007 Thundercracker on ebay, I paid more than I should have, but that gives me Thundercracker, Starscream, Skywarp and Ramjet of the Seeker jets, I'm up in the air about Dirge and Thrust as they are going for $70 and $80 a piece on ebay.
He'll be an ultra if he's anything. Which means he'll be huge (classics Prime will only come up to his neck) and 'spensive ($29.99).I really hope we get Prowl, Jazz and Ironhide. Galvatron would look cool, but I don't know if I'd actually pick him up or not.
Blame TF:Heroes. They be getting the dino's. And maybe in the '09 assortment they'll use the Dinobots that Heroes didn't.Too bad about the other dinobots not getting made. I'm rewatching the original shows and they play such intrigrate parts.
Well this is G1 that's unavoidable. If you limit yourself to the 3 seasons you see that the Autobots out number the Decepticons 2:1 (being conservative). Look at the numbers 21 autobot cars, 8 decepticon jets. 17 autobot mini-bots, of which there is no decepticon equivalent.I will continue to get the transformer classics, but only so long that they continue to make some decepticons. I don't want more autobots than decepticons on my shelves. It wouldn't be a fair fight. I'm still sour about Botcon.
