I think I'm going to break down and buy them. not this month, but maybe next month. I'll see how steady the job is and all that first. I'll try to get them bagged if possible. I could always sell them back if I needed too later.

Yeah, if you want to pay what I pay for them. I'm also giving myself the month to make sure I really want them. I don't want to p*** money like that away if I think I'll regret it. But I've always been more of a fan of the decepticons than the Autobots. I just like their look more.

My friend acutally got some car decal stickers, one of a autobot and one with the decepticon logo head. He got two sets and gave me one. Once my fiance gets a new car, I'm going to put the autobot head on her car and the decepticon one on my car.

Y'know, I've always preferred the Decepticons too. I actually bought a decepticons emblem tee, I just love that logo.

I just bought the soundwave TRU re-release, well it's a little changed I think, but anyway I got that last night. I actually knew nothing about it. Wish I didn't let it slip through my fingers the first time.


Anyway, Soundwave is probably my favorite decepticon. So I'm really, really happy they made it and that I got it. Even though it cost me $20 more than it should have. Anyway, I got him and I'll be happy to get him in the mail soon. He comes with not only laserbeak like the first release, but with ravage which is great. Ravage is probably one of the reasons why I like soundwave so much.

Soundwave was just cool b/c I liked his robot voice and also he could just sit back and let his minions, laserbeak, ravage and rumble do all his dirty work. He was just cool.

So at least I got him, even if I don't buy this expensive set.

Starscream is my fav. Soundwave and Megs after. I saw the Soundwave re-issue but passed. If made as a TF Classic I'd probably get it. His voice kicked ass. But Starscream's arrogant jerk ways are just too cool. He's a lovable weasel.

That's cause it's not actually Soundwave, it's Soundblaster coloured blue. Soundblaster being a Soundwave remold (the holding 2 tapes thing) who's black.

What do you think about soundwave though. Do you think the one I will be getting, the TRU one in the mail is just as good? I already have Prime and SS. I got them the first time around.

Most places that sell TF's online have them. BBTS, TFsource, Toywiz anyone. But as your probably in the US, any US based site will open Megs and glue in a orange cap. And if you go outside the US the customs my sieze him (heard quite a few horror stories about MP Megs coming into the US). I got my Megs preordered from agesthreeandup.com, a Canadian website. Canada doesn't have the same toy gun laws. My Encore (that's what they're called) Megs will be MISB when he gets to me.

Now TRU Soundwave is great. I got him from a Hong Kong toy site, months ago. The extended buttons and tape case aren't that noticeable. He displays great, it's freaking Soundwave. Plus you get Ravage and Laserbeak with him.

And in case any hasbro reps read these threads,

Hasbro was asked this point blank at Botcon. They said no. Why? Tak//to "lost" the molds. This means they either can't find them, are damaged, or someone else has them. And since the Dino's are not popular in Japan Tak/To has no intertest in getting the molds back. That's how reissues work. Tak/To does a run and Hasbro either gets in on it or doesn't.

How much is that Starscream?????????????????????????

If I decide to get the megatron, I'll just spray paint the barrall. I don't know though. I know that the megatron is the G1 reissued, but I hate how it looks almost nothing like the cartoon megatron. So i might not bother. I'll have to see how much money I have next month.

And that really, really sucks about the dinobots. They were always great.

Well there are KO's of Swoop, Slag, and Sludge. KO Swoop is out now. And by all reports is nearly identical in quality to the original. Only difference is that his launchers won't stay in the wing holes, pegs are the wrong size.

KO Slag and Sludge are coming soon.

If you see the words reissue associated with the folowing G1 figs, any Dinobot, Mirage, Wheeljack, or Sunstreaker it's a knock off.

Yes the concept sketches were. And unlike at Botcon you could take pictures.

They are all going to feature a similar gimmick to what Classics Prime and BB had. Parts of them pop off and transform into weapons.

I was lucky enough to win a Botcon 2007 Thundercracker on ebay, I paid more than I should have,but that gives me Thundercracker, Starscream, Skywarp and Ramjet of the Seeker jets, I'm up in the air about Dirge and Thrust as they are going for $70 and $80 a piece on ebay.

The first wave of Classics 2/universe is going to be 8 deluxe figs, and 3 or 4 ultras. The car brothers are deluxe. Hasbro also said it would more than likely do Prowl, Jazz, and Ironhide. Galvatron is a maybe, and he won't be just a Megatron repaint.

He'll be an ultra if he's anything. Which means he'll be huge (classics Prime will only come up to his neck) and 'spensive ($29.99).

Blame TF:Heroes. They be getting the dino's. And maybe in the '09 assortment they'll use the Dinobots that Heroes didn't.

Well this is G1 that's unavoidable. If you limit yourself to the 3 seasons you see that the Autobots out number the Decepticons 2:1 (being conservative). Look at the numbers 21 autobot cars, 8 decepticon jets. 17 autobot mini-bots, of which there is no decepticon equivalent.

I was talking about Galvatron. Prowl, Ironhide, and Jazz will be deluxes. Octane there is some confusion over, at botcon he was said to be an Ultra. But at SDCC he was listed as a deluxe.
