Namor Fell

Is it just me or does this Thing see to reuse the body of the It?

IMG_8846.JPG

Too Bad he's five inches
IMG_8862.JPG

There you go Doomie and FTB and others....these kinda look like they are Super Hero Showdown sized.
IMG_8879.JPG

He is still pretty bad ass....even with the Hasbro Joints.
IMG_8907.JPG

ooooh, that Sandman rocks! (HaHa! Sand...rocks...get it?)

What line is he in?

IN the last pic?

The one in the package is from the SM3 line and five inches...the other one I think is actually a piggy bank or something.

...That 360 Venom looks excellent. The 5 in line is producing some good villains, with an impressive Vulture and okay looking Mysterio and Black Cat.
F4 set is amazing. I love the Doom a lot. The Spiderman 3 6 in, however did get me with a black Venom and of course Harry.
And Serpentor in the Joe line rules.

Definitely gonna use the new Surfer with my movie display

I'd rather have Domino and Cable in a 2 pack. I don't like cannonball because he uses ML7 Ghostrider's skrawny body. And marvel girl looks...odd.

I do like the reuse of stealth wolverine for cable.

Marvel girl looks like she's five inches...and I am actually surprized how well the GR Body works on Cannonball......Either way I need both Cannonball and Domino, but I don't really need another Cable and Jean.....of course I'll be getting them all.....sweet find LD.

Here's the notes from the Hasbro Marvel Panel...and my opnioins

- On panel are Jerry, Steve Rettengner, David Vaughner, Michelle, Dave Qunets, Scott George

Who? At least we all knew Jessa Falcon's name

- They are starting with the Q&A because they forgot their computer.

Losers

- Any chance of squirl Girl figure? Dave from Hasbro wants a Peter Porker figure.

That doesn't answer the SG question, and Spider-ham would be a great pack in

- They are doing a 6" Spider-Man build-a-series coming out in the Fall.

Uh, well my hopes got up for a second

- Mary Jane Watson is coming for the Spider-Man 6" line and will include characters from all 3 movies.

Then fell very very far

- Will there be any Star Wars Marvel Legends scale figures? They are looking at that as a posibility, maybe like the new Spider-Man Unleashed figures.

Cool, as long as they aren't 8 inches.

- Will harder to find Toy Biz variants be re-released? It's possible, they are looking at that kind of stuff

They will be

- Will the Dr. Doom figure in the FF Legends line have a removeable mask? They believe it will, the prototype does.

Then it wont....just kidding, I'm sure it will

- Will there be Marvel Transformers? They look at all the expresions for these lines.

wont see em

- Any of the Toy Biz figures that never got released like X-Babies or Frog Of Thunder be released? Again they look at alot of those things.

Hi kids, I'm Captain Vague and this is my side kick No Real Answer boy, and we work for Hasbro.

- Will they ever make large scale Build-A-Figures? Hasbro asks if they did large figures would you be willing to buy more figures in the wave? Most the crowd said yes, as long as their not variants.

We won't see them

- They are working on Hulk and Iron Man (Movie) lines but they can't comment on them now.

5 inches

- Slides are now being shown:

I can't see them

- Spider-Man 360 Unleashed. Awsome articulation and great bases. Spider-Man & Venom are on shelves now and have full distribution in August.

Pththththbbbbbt

- 6" Spider-Man are back. They are due out this Fall. Inludes Build-A-Figure Sandman.

Beating a dead horse

- For kids there will be the Ultimate Web Blaster

Who the **** at SDCC cares about what's for the kids?

- Spider-Man Web World will be a kid friendly line, 2 1/2" inces with playsets which also work with 5" figures

That makes no sense and who cares? make 6 inch playsets

- Free Super Hero Squad magnet is being handed out at the Hasbro Booth. A new website will be launching as well

I want one

- Fantastic Four Build-A-Series will be 6" and include the FF along with Dr. Doom, Silver Surfer, Namor, Mole Man and Ronin is the build-a-figure.

Duh

- Signature series continues with the FF and Dr. Doom will be coming out.

Cool, but it will be hard to tp the Famous Covers Doom

- Marvel Legends series 3 will have a Variant Marvel Girl and Hydra solider. The Marvel Girl packaged backwards will only have 500 released.

Glad I'm not a completeist anymore.

- Marvel Legends wave 1 of 2008 will include NOVA, Astonishing Beast, Black Bolt and First Appearance Dare Devil. Black Bolt will have a variant, one black and one blue. Punisher and Tigra wound the wave out with a Haulacaust build-a-figure. Croosbones will be a chace of Punisher.

Who the **** are Haulacaust and Croosbones? Seriously though, I can't wait to get me a Corssbones Chance (?) of the Punisher...that should be cool.

- Pics of these will be in the booth later today, look for more images to cone.

Yay.

- Magneto Icons helmet does come out, also look for Phoenix (Dark as well) and Colosuss. Cosmic Silver Surfer will be a Target exclusive.

Colosuss? Who spelled this?

- 6" Domino/Cannonball and Cable/Marvel Girl will be Wal-Mart exclusive packs available in October.

Better come to Canada

- Marvel Legends Black Queen 6" figure will be a TRU exclusive

Gonna clog the pegs like Diamond Emma? I'll get one...but I don't know why....it will be useless without Sebastion Shaw

- Any leftover SDCC exclusives will be availble at HasbroToyShop.com

I want some.

- No FF Legends variants planned at this time

Good....But a Fully Flamed torch woulda been great.

- Look for Iron Man movie figures at Toy Fair in Feburary 2008

Yay...5 inch.....yay,

- Back to Hasbro Q@A

Okay.

- Whats your reaction to the news of Mattel getting the DC Master Toy Lisence? They think it's great

Good for them, now they can see how toys should be made, I kid....I'm not that bitter towards Hasbro.

- Will there be FF Animated figures? Depends on the entertainment end, and they are not sure where it stands

Let's hope not....they take up space that could be used much better.

- Fan says he's really happy with the look at the new Marvel figures shown at SDCC this weekend and will the quality make it to the final product? They hope so, there was a learning curve with the first few waves and hope the new figures will be something everyone is happy with.

Yeah, they Hope so *cough*Lord Thor*Cough*

- Anything replace the Build-A-Series. They are looking at options and see whats viable.

Why? Unless they bring back kick ass bases I still want BAFs

- Paint applications will more be added to the figures? They say they get mixed reviews, some people like them and some don't. It will depend on the figure and what it looks like with the final product. Some washes just dont work well.

Yeah Fans like them, hasbro employees dont.

- Did you take any of the Toy Biz design team on or mentorship with them. In some respects and have worked closely with people like Jesse Falcon

I don't think they work close with Jesse at all, I think Jesse got dumped.

- No plans for something like a 4-series build-a-series

huh?

- They are going back to 6 figures per wave on Marvel Legends

Drats...oh well.

- Will we see a new version of Onslaught? Nothing in the plans at the moment

Of course not

- One of the fun things of their job is debating which characters get included in a wave and Marvel does have a say in that

Hasbro has been doing good wit thier choices

- Articulation seems to be disappearing? Articulation is a case by case thing. Sometimes they want to try and hide it as much as possible. Will the articulated toes be there...No.

**** You Hasbro!

- First Appearance Storm will be made

Der.

- There will also be a fan poll done in Toy Fare magazine

Yay, another wolverine....because a lot of tools read Toy Fare.

- Jim Lee style X-Men figues are on the rader

Jubilee and Jean are all we really need....and Maverick

- Articularion of current figures don't seem to be able to move as well as they use to. Yes some character like Spider-Man needs the articulation but its case by case and something they are looking at

The return of Captain Vague.

- They are looking to complete teams in the Marvel Legends as we look to the future to help complete people's collections

that's good.....but rather than completing teams in two pack they are starting X-force in such two packs.

- With Iron Man movie, can we see re-releases of Toy Biz Iron Man figures? Maybe

I don't want them, I already have them.....I want the Iron Man TAS on DVD

- They have no knowledge of a Fing-Fang Foom wave. Threy leaked no info and anything on the net is unconfirmed.

I think they are trying to play coy, and pissing us all off, expect the Foomer to be revealed on Saturday.
