The SHH! Guide to Free Powerful Software! New And Improved!

For Mac users:

After downloading a youtube "Get_video" file, in .flv format, the program "iSquint" is a great converter for creating avatars and videos for the iPod.

iSquint

What's the best file format to burn to DVD?
a vob. file, that should look like this

if you do burn one like this and youre using nero, burn it as a file dvd and make sure the vob, ifo, bup files are in a folder named VIDEO_TS, dont make another folder inside this one. then just put the folder in nero and burn it like that.

or are you talking about files like avi and mpg?

I have some mov and flv files. I tried using mpeg but when I play the DVD, I get no audio. I actually have Cyberlink Power2Go.

I dont know about those. Have you tried making it into a dvd? I mean you are the one that told me its easy to make them, with just the click of a button.

Windows Vista.

I just want to convert them to a compatiable format.

i was thinking of checking out some 3D art programs, could anyone recommend some to me and maybe some links or something?

Sweet  Thanks SF and Malice. I was going to do something like this, but.....I am just too lazy to do something so organized. :D

How do you feel about iso files?

is there anything good out there to optimize a computer?

when i turn on my desktop it takes forever, and i kinda think i may have too many things running unnecessarily, but since under task manager they most are called srv hosts or something, it's kinda hard to tell which ones i need and don't.

is there anything stuff out there that can help identify them or make it so where certain things don't run at start up, etc?

If you go to your Search thingy in the Start button, you can look for a file called System Configure. If you click that badboy and then turn off all things at the Startup it will give you a good idea of how everything runs without all the startup garbage.

:thing: :doom: :thing:
