I tried to get my tickets last week, but it was sold out :(

WOW, never expected that one. Lucky I got tickets in advance. :)

I thought it would be near sold out- or sold out, but not that early.

Allright! I got tickets for Thursday! Dubbed, tough...

???? where do you live? why dubbed? seriously that sold out?

I know seriously...I'd rather wait then see it dubbed

I live in Bs As Argentina, and it shocks me to find out that there won't be one ****in theather with the movie with the original voice cast :( I can't really answer why is that, I know most of people hate the voices in the current latin america dub (the voices in the old episodes are OK with most people)
It's pretty hard to get tickets. I thought it was totally sold out for thursday (a lot of people were complaining that there were no tickets last week, when I went to see Tformers), but I called today and I got one, for 7pm, 8pm was sold out, and 9pm was almost sold out... The reason behind this is that the kids are on vacations here, and you know the simpsons are huge.

Can't wait for this. I've been anticipating seeing this on a theater screen ever since the movie was announced:

Oh, so that would explain the dubbing. I was really confused on those parts, but- different country, makes sense.

saw the movie about 12 hours ago now

was very good, much much much better than I thought

10x better than recent (last couple of years) episodes

only prob was that it felt like a standard tv cartoon to movie though (i.e rugrats) don't really know how to explain that bit

stay through the credits, trust

definatly worth a look in, best simpsons in years

oh and yeah you DO see barts penis

I don't know if I'm gonna see this in theaters or not.

Might just stay home and watch a couple episodes on tv.

Whoever saw it, did you see a tdk trailer? And none of the theatres around me have early screenings :(

no i didnt because i don't think the cinema was showing trailers, think they were trying to screen as many simpsons as poss, because i got in one minute late (thinkign there would be 20 mins of trailers) and it was juts starting

I hate it when they do that crap. I ether want to see the trailers because of some specific one I want to catch, or want them there because I'm running late and don't want to miss the actual beginning of the movie.

Saw the Movie last night. It was very funny to my surprise. Haven't laughed that much during any Simpsons Episode.

I'm gonna see if it's showing on Saturday morning then I'll go see it

Saw the movie this morning.

It was good, but no where near as funny as some of the classics of the first nine seasons.

This movie needed more... random-ness.

See, now I really don't like the Simspons TV episodes that were super-heavy on the "random" gags, because they seemed to much like "Family Guy".

That might be a problem for this movie. It might be too slapsticky and exaggerated for those who liked the early seasons of the Simpsons TV show that were more "realistic" in plot, but still very sarcastic and satirical.
However, it's probably not random or edgy enough for those who've gotten used to "Family Guy" over the last few years.
