^ was rewatching the truck scene an when it closed up on his mask I thought that would be a great starting point for death strokes mask

I don't know, I liked the mask in season one. It sure looked like Deathstroke. I'm not opposed to a metallic helmet, I quite like the Arkham Origins one.

But, I won't talk smack against what I saw in season one. It looked pretty badass. And kinda creepy. It seemed like the kind of mask you'd run as fast as ****ing possible away from, not towards. His eyes looked ****ing scary.

Slade having feelings for Shado is a stupid ass idea and I don't like that they went there. I also didn't like that they allowed him to "die" without having him acknowledge his relationship with Oliver. Or...you know...his wife and son.

Anyway, I think we are gonna see some ass kicking from Slade next week and as far as the mask he will have when he goes full Deathstroke, we've seen the remains of it on the beach, I think he will have something different when he hits the present day timeline though.

I'm also thinking that when Ollie said that he had killed and burned the last of the super soldiers he was referring to Slade, thus why he dodged Sara's question about him and Shado.

I think a lot of you are jumping the gun on this Slade and Shado ship. I doubt this be the cause for his falling out with Oliver. If I was writing from this point we left off at Slade would come back as the bad ass terminator we all know and love. Then having that much power would have a serious affect on his psyche.

In Spider-man lore with great power comes a greater responsibility. This is true for people with some kind of moral campus. There is saying about power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Slade is soldier, but he is also a killer who does so without no remorse, and a pragmatist. I could imagine this kind of person falling down that rabbit hole into an abyss of an inhumanity. Where killing Shado or killing Oliver can seem like the right thing to do.

Anyyyyways....I for one don't mind the Sin/Slade angle. Realistically, if you guys were on an island and thought you might die there , and there was only one woman there to keep you company, you'd probably fall for her too

just kidding, yeah, I didn't mind it much, a tad annoying, but I doubt much will come of it. stoked to see what they do with Slade after this.

Man, I feel sorry for you. It's shado by the way, not sin, but I do agree with you on the last part.

If they are already going to have their fallout, are we really supposed to believe that Ollie could beat him? Plus, he still requires tons of training, to become the vigilante we all know and love.

Isn't it still very early in his time away, though? Plenty of ground left to cover. A ton, really. I thought they mentioned by the time Ollie winds up on the prisoner ship, that it's been a year.

That leaves four years to go, right?

I think we'll see him become a bad guy in Season 3. I also think that is when he will appear in Starling City.

I really hope Slade will stick around for a good while. I hope they'll have their fall out in the 3rd, or even 4th year. Ollie still needs so much training, and if Slade sticks around longer, that'll hopefully mean that they are not going to have their fall out over Shado, after Slade's recent confession.

I guess it would have been nice had Slade acknowledged the face Ollie makes, and then he could have said "Didn't I tell you not to get attached? Do it."

I don't know, they're a year in. And hasn't Slade been stuck on the island longer than Ollie? Him having feelings makes sense if he's already thinking his wife has moved on. He's probably presumed dead. And it does make sense he'd have a thing for Shado, with how badass she is.

I don't think their fallout will be over Shado, though. I think it'll be over the serum and just how that thing will **** him up. It'll probably change him, and ultimately it'll be that I think that makes him turn.

I do wish his "last words" had been for Ollie, though. He and Ollie had gotten pretty close, and been through alot. You'd think seeing Ollie grow from the soft pretty boy he was when he met Slade, into a man who so quickly killed a dude, would lead to a bittersweet proud mentor sort of moment.

I just thought the love triangle was handled so poorly. It came out of nowhere. Shado and Oliver are going out and what not and Slade never says anything. Next thing you know Slade is peeping on them in the creepiest manner and we get that crap. I understand there's only one woman around, but I thought they would play Slade up as the ultimate "I'm here for my mission" type of guy. Really poorly handled.
