Horror The Strangers

I'm not sure what "new" elements you could bring to a sequel that would justify making it. The first film was sparse (which I personally loved; it was very simple and focused), but another one is only going to come across as a cash-grab.

Whatever the sequel they come up with, I can almost predict a bomb. I don't know why studios can't just leave movies as single entities. Pointless sequels solely for the cash just taints the name.

Don't you know now anything that makes any kind of money will spawn a sequel. I mean for gods sake the sisterhood of the travling pants has a sequel coming out.

It was a decent movie, but it wont hold up over time. Once you've seen it and you know where all the scares are, it wont be as scary the second time around. Yeah, it had some good creepy moments but after a while I got bored. Seeing the killers stand there one moment and then disappear the next got old pretty quick.

Yeah it didnt scare at me at all, but The Strangers feels like i can watch it over and over and still enjoy it.

So I called my dad and asked him if he would like to see The Strangers. So I might get to see it before it's last run in theaters.
