It not being on the upfronts is basically confirmation enough. Esp when noone on the show has gotten anything about starting production on a second season.

It was a nice feature episode, though I would assume that Kit/Kat wouldve atleast stopped by home after Thunderra was destroyed to make sure their mother/siblings were ok.

you would think they would do that. I have a feeling their siblings and mother may appear later on (if this season and weren't planned for another season)

they may be afraid to go home after failing to find El Dara

I think it's known for sometime since last year that 26 episodes have been produced. Cartoon Network may have split into 13 episodes per season to make it into 2 seasons instead of one. If Thundercats isn't returning for Fall, then it's likely the end for the Thundercats as it's in the same category as 2002 He-Man and MOTU.

yeah CN seems to get great shows like this and he-man decide nah lets **** this about and change its time slot once a week

hell for masters they had one week it airing at 4pm on a friday and then next week was 5:30 am on a sunday

"We look at the message boards and we see whom the original fans want to see, so as much as we can – without throwing characters in for some random reason – we want to make sure we have at least a cameo or a one-off for each of these loved characters. You'll see Pumyra, with several episodes devoted to her, even if our take on her is not the same as in the original series. That's our attitude for all these characters. We're thinking, like, "How can we work Safari Joe into this episode?" That's one reason that in episode five, the Driller showed up, just because he was one of the more popular villains from the old series. It's a bit of a balancing act figuring out where and how we're going to use these characters."

Willa, you mean. I would have loved that too, but it does seem possible that Lion-O and Pumyra might eventually be an item, as Tygra-actor Matthew Mercer hinted, and seeing some of the details from the spoilers by people who already saw "The Pit" episode in Ireland.

Regarding the Bengali thing I think it would be hilarious if Lion-O starts a similar thing with Pumyra as he did with Cheetara. But then Bengali shows up and wham she goes for Bengali instead because maybe they had a previous relationship or something. Would be hilarious if Lion-O got rejected again and the girl went for a tiger again. Just have Lion-O being rejected by every gal he likes, would be hilarious and a great running joke.

craigdbfan, it looks that way for now yeah. She will need to guide them into Plun-Darr. I think Michael Jelenic said she'd be coming into the cast basically.
