The thunder- thunder- THUNDERCATS HOOOOOO!-thread - Part 2

Hope the show gets back to what it was seemingly promising the general audience back when it was previewed and well into the second episode.

These new eps, I don't know.

If we don't get Warrior Maidens at some point I'll be very disappointed.

I wonder if they will still look sort of human in appearance or if they will look more alien or creature like. I also wonder if any of them will have the hots for Tygra or Lion-O :woot: .

I'm still hoping that the reveal of the first human characters will be a big deal, plotline wise.

No one has watched episode 10? I'm watching it now.

Yeah it was a fun episode.

Liked the little part with kit and the indian elephant dudes.

I saw it. It was fun. I like how sort of weird the show is. Just some weird, quirky stuff in some of these eps. that I like because it makes it a little different. The show is very reminiscent of Avatar to me, but I like it even better since I have more personal investment with these characters.

We learned a little more about Kit and Kat here. Kat's song with her flute is a lullaby from their mother. I thought it was interesting that Kat was the only one who saw in that instance, that meditating would work in order to defeat the rock monster. I think Kit and Kat have become really cool characters in this show. They are immature kids but at the same time they are extremely devious and more clever than they look.

We got a bit more of the Tygra/Lion-O rivalry. I liked that. And some more grumpy Panthro.

My big question is, what was going on when Snarf saw the elephants going in that hut? Is it like some elevator to an underground temple where the power stone is kept?

I hope the Thundercats do run into the Warrior Maidens at some point and they find that Willa is also able to use Sight Beyond Sight. Perhaps she could teach Lion-O some things on how to use it better. Would be interesting.

Done now. Fun little ep. I like that on third earth instead of an elephant never forgets, they forget everything. Kit's song being a lullaby form her and Kat's mother was a nice touch as was her meditating with the elephants. I'd like to see the elephants revisited in the future as there was obviously something going on in that hut where the stone is or was.

Loved the ep. Loved the cat pods. And the twins continue to be my favorite part of the show.

Wood forger ep seems interesting

Yeah the Elephants were fun hope to see more of them.

Wood forger ep seems interesting

Saw the twist coming from a mile away though.

Agreed. They should run into Willa soon I hope.

Damn Panthro.

After you notice how creepy the woods are you send the kids out for wood.

Ice cold.

Good action scenes very predictable turn of events though.

Yeah once I saw the woodcutter I figured it was gonna turn out the Wood Forgers were evil.

Kind of unfortunate. I could totally see the Wood Forgers getting their own show.

Yeah I can see that, given that they felt like they escaped from some Japanese Anime fantasy adventure series.

I really love this show and liked the last ep. as has been said earlier, it was kind of predictable, but still was nice. I love how quirky the show is.

this episode made me think i was watching a bad anime. paper fighters, sure whatever. just spit on the paper and punch a hole threw it. wow, they are really all over the place. when the season first started it had this medieval vibe to it, then as it went on had a scifi theme. this episode i didn't like very much.

also who thought harry potter when they walke to the school with the lights strew about like that, c'mon.

That's what the thundercats have always been since the 80's. There has always been scifi, and fantasy elements in it. I don't see how your surprised by that.

im saying i like the medieval and scifi parts, but this new stuff with the paper fighters was just bad.

I thought it was decent it was another learning episode for Lion-O like many of the other episodes plus it gave Cheetarh a new magical bow. Which I'm sure down the road will mean something not sure what though.

Whichever one doesn't get Cheetara should get one of the Warrior Maidens, despite the obvious complications.

Good episode tonight. Tygra finally got some friggin' focus! With some Cheetara focus to boot. About damn time too.

It was bound to happen at some point. Fanboys being too frigging whiny and impatient.

Good episode. Will be interesting to see what Tygra's betrayal will be as the Elephants visions are never wrong. My guess is it will be Mum-Ra in the guise of Tygra that the elephant saw.

Interesting to see Tygra has liked Cheetara since the were cubs.
