The Thunderbolts* News and Discussion Thread

The credits for Thunderbolts:
- Hannah JK get a "with"-credit. She has to be a very good agent and/or is really important for this movie
- Sebastian Stan is 2nd in that list, so I guess the rumors of a very small appereance are wrong
- Lewis Pullman is BEHIND Olga Kurylenko, which is in only one scene in the trailers so far. What the hell?
It’s the credits for, Thunderbolts on A Wheaties Box. I wouldn’t read that much into it.
Still,
Clever Marketing.

That doesn’t matter. They still have to list the billing credits in a certain way and order.

That poster looks like a tie in marketing for a cereal*

I’d be interested in seeing Harrison Ford return

I feel like he has to be in this film because why would the team be called Thunderbolts in the first place? But I also think its quite random to name a team over a secondary MCU character like Thunderbolt Ross*

Paul Jenkins (Sentry creator) recently confirmed that he is in contract to write a The Sentry film, if it ever happens. He also had a hand in The Thunderbolts

I would be surprised if we get a solo Sentry film and if we do, it won’t be soon.

I don't think a Sentry film is gonna happen. But this Thunderbolts* film also exists so who knows. I would take a Sentry film over a Thunderbolts film though*

Jenkins is so underrated. Loved his Spider-Man run.

Unless this film miraculously performs like Guardians of the Galaxy at the box office. I don't think we are getting more Sam Wilson and Thunderbolts movie after this year. I bet Disney would be a lot of safer with their movie choices moving forward*

From the trailers, you'd never guess that this was shot by the same guy that did Green Knight and A Ghost Story.

POSITIVITY!
Indeed.

But it's not just a matter of positivity. I genuinely think that, since the very first trailer.

Schreier and Co. seem to have cooked up a special lil' flick here. Love the look and feel of it.

Yeah but they already had this planned when Disney/MCU thought they couldn't lose. They could have given it the Blade treatment.

I really liked Yelena in BW so that is a good thing for me. Pugh hasn't been boring as the character and Red Guardian is pretty good. The rest of the team I don't care for, I liked Bucky but he seems so directionless now. Ghost & Taskmaster weren't big talkers before or interesting. This maybe the first time people see Walker because Falcon show was whatever. I hope he is better in this. Casuals won't really know these characters because BW was another movie that didn't have to be viewed and people skipped. They may also see them as a Suicide Squad ripoff just based on the whole they are not heroes but saving world throw together team. They have 4 months to really get people to see it after this recent Cap movie. The Cap movie didn't seem to do anything to set them up, Marvel would always try to throw an alley oop to a future project, but felt like they didn't care.

Unless Doomsday and Secret Wars do VERY well. Not to mention Fantastic Four, which will lead to Doomsday.

I've seen Walker being hailed as one of the best parts of Falcon and the Winter Soldier by a lot of people. And he was.
