First, I have to say that the trailer was AWESOME! I read the book, recognized a number of the scenes from it. This trailer though, had the best use of a song I've ever seen used for any movie. It sound like Smashing Pumpkins, but does anyone know the name of the song or is it something made for the movie and isn't released yet?

This is "TE is TB is TE" :

"TB is TE is TB," on the other hand, is the track used in the Teaser.

I most definately like the Watchmen version better. I don't really care for the electro/punk/rock thing going on the Batman & Robin version. And listening to TB is TE is TB, I think the sound effects that were included with the trailer is an improvement.

I was really really surprised and thrilled to hear it used!
I was telling my friends, "listen guys it's that song I always play in the car."

Hmmm, I enjoy the teaser trailer version a bit more better. Toned down, a little more brooding.

on the rareities and b-side box! find it on limewire!!

Anyone have the "Watchmen" version downloaded? I'd love to have a copy. I love the clock sound-effects, the brooding instrumentals, and it feels more epic than the schlocky "Batman & Robin" version.

If you get your hands on the "B&R" soundtrack, the "Watchmen" version is on there as the final track.

And even if you don't want the "B&R" soundtrack just for one song, knowing that it's included might help you find it online if you're having trouble finding it...

The Batman and Robin soundtrack was actually very good. The movie was crap of course. Smashing Pumpkins are one of my all time favorite bands!:brucebat:

The song is #5 on the Alternative chart and #55 on the top 100 chart on iTunes. :)

just wanted to make a clarification, because it didn't seem like one was made, but the song in the watchmen trailer is "The Beginning Is The End Is The Beginning" and was also on the Batman and Robin soundtrack with "The End Is The Beginning Is The End." Both songs are pretty much almost identical in terms of lyrics, but both are different paced as "the beginning is the end is the beginning" is slow and industrial sounding, while "The end is the beginning is the end" is fast paced and more grunge/alt rock. But I totally thought that 'beginning' really made the trailer feel epic

i don't think they could've picked a better song that would've fit more perfectly in that trailer.
