The Trix Rabbit...Menace to Society, or Victim of Society?

Trix Rabbit: menace or victim?

  • Yes, he is a victim of an unfair society...GIVE HIM THE TRIX!!!

  • No, he's a menace...GET A JOB YOU LAZY RABBIT!!!

  • A mixture of both...AKA I Can't make up my own mind.

The kids in the commercial are the spawns of satan.

However, it's also the rabbits fault for never eating the Trix when he gets it. Instead he goes into some druggie hallucination about Lemony Yellows and Wild Berry Blues. :o

The Nestle Quik Bunny seems to be doing just fine. He's got a good gig, maybe he needs to mentor Trix Rabbit...

You know, maybe to get milk the Nesquick bunny will help him out, but getting his hands on those Trix will never happen. The kids their choice, and Trix Rabbit lost. Nesquick rabbit stole the hearts and minds of kids. IT'S HIS FAULT TOO!!!

See, even the Nesquick bunny is against the Trix Rabbit.

What about 30-40 years ago when milk was cheap? This is deeper than the rabbit getting a job. He is a victim of an animalisitic society that claims Homo Sapians as the "top of the food chain". Top of the food chain? What incentive is there to help when you've been breed your whole life to believe that you're "top" prize and claim top pickings?

The poor guy can't get a bowl of cereal, do you really believe someone would give him a job?

Exactly!!! Society is just hard on highly evolved rabbits.

I won't even get started on Lucky the Leprechaun which teaches the message that even though something doesn't belong to you, you should do everything in your power to take whatever you want. :down

What about those Pop Tarts commercials where they fry the living pop tart and then eat them?

What he needs to do is recruit some help, of the non-bunny variety. I think he should look up the Cookie Crisp Crook, I haven't seen that guy in a long time and if anyone should know about the struggles that the Trix Rabbit has gone through it's him. Besides, the Cookie Crisp Crook was always foiled by Officer Crumb, who is way smarter than a bunch of bratty devil kids. Plus Cookie Crisp Crook had a sidekick Cookie Hound, I'm sure he could get the both of them to help, at a discount.

What needs to happen is affirmative action should include rabbits, so that a company needs to hire a certain percentage of rabbits, so the Trix rabbit can get a job and start to make money so he can go grocery shopping.

In society we create our own differences, labels, and classifications. Nothing is set in stone that says that we can consume trix while humanoid rabbits can not. Bug Bunny has clearly shown that not only can other people eat carrots, but he can eat human food. So why are the children so angsty.

BUT, it's not about that. Trix does not actually want the cereal. He has had plenty of chances to consume it. He, in fact, craves the ATTENTION of the kids. He likes wearing different costumes and playing this game of hide and seek with them. How many times has he held the cereal in his hands, and instead of eating it, he just holds it and gives a solliloquy.

I'd like to cite for you all, an instance in Japan, where Trix got fed up with the game and broke the children's necks with ease. The footage was only shown on family guy.

I'm a ****ing alligator!

He can have my Trix as I never touch anything that isn't meat. Problem solved.

He's the freakin mascot, for pete's sake. Let him have some damn cereal! :cmad:

I'm 18, which is still a kid to a degree, bastard needs to lay off my trix!:cmad:

If he starves to death, the kids should get some of the blame.

I think the coyote should eat the roadrunner... :cmad: :cmad: :cmad:

I hated those satanic sickos. All they had to give the rabbit was a ****ing bowl of cereal!!! Even a Trix yougurt would be fine!!! Why the hell must children be so selfish!!!

Then again, there is something wrong with that rabbit, he spends way to much time around kids.

Okay, I got into a major discussion about this last night, and I want to know what you think about the Trix Rabbit. Is he a menace to society, or is he a victim of society? You decide. Post your arguments for or against.

Me, I think he is a victim of society. The children in these commercials are clearly guilty of bigotry (I mean, silly rabbit, Trix are for KIDS!!!). That statement is not only prejudice against humanoid rabbits, but against all others who enjoy the tasty Trix cereal that are not children. The rabbit has clearly been driven insane by the bigotry he faces every time he wants a bowl of cereal (I mean, look at the lengths he goes to in order to obtain the cereal). Now, you may say why doesn't this rabbit get a job. I must point out, I don't think rabbits have rights under the US Constitution, thus any labor for him would be illegal labor. And if these kids are bigots against rabbits, don't you think that adults would feel the same way?

Can't we just give the poor rabbit a bowl of cereal? Is it that much to ask?

Now, your turn. There is a poll.

savior of society

The fact is: You don't steal from children. Society is taught that stealing is wrong and that's what the Rabbit does.

yeah, but the problem is that the kid won't give him any Trix in the first place...so the rabbit has to RESORT to stealing. society doesn't want to help the monsters it creates.

I enjoy the cultural allusion to this in Kill Bill where Ishii and Kiddo have an exchange saying "...silly rabbit, Trix are for kids"

The Trix Rabbit is a disturbing look into our society preaching a powerful yet horrible message to our youth.

The Trix Rabbit, disguises himself in order to partake in the cereal belong to the children, but each time he is thwarted.

The message here is no matter how you try and hide, change who you are, your true self will shine through and you will be shunned for who you are.

Mmmm....I disagree. The real message here is that, because the Trix Rabbit is always trying to disguise and hide who he is, he has deep rooted issues in accepting himself for who he is. Fail to accept yourself for who you are and others will soon follow suit. They aren't shunning him for being who he is, they are shunning him for being a fraud who isn't even true to his own self. You can't trust a guy like that.

He's got an addiction, he needs our help, not our hate. :(

when he's trying to steal the trix, it's one thing
but, I've seen a lot of them, where he dresses up to ask for them, or try to win them in a contest, and after he is offered some/or wins the contest, and gets the trix, someone notice he's a rabbit and takes them way, those are the once that piss me off
the kids are willing to share when he's dressed like someone else, but, take them away when they realize he's a rabbit (ok, so, he did try to trick them, but, still, he only tried to trick them cause, their wouldn't let him get any)

why can't trix be for rabbits, too?

though, if the cookie crisp dog can go legit, maybe there still is hope for the poor rabbit lol
