I like New Moon more than Twilight. And that's coming from someone who loves the first movie. New Moon was closer to the book, better special effects, and a lot of the things people hated (not me) about the first one weren't in the second as much. It wasn't perfect, and had flaws, but in the end I think it's a better film

I just finished watching New Moon, and I thought it was much better than Twilight too. It was the only one of the 4 books that I actually sort of liked, and the movie was a very good adaptation - I kept forgetting my usual disdain for the Twilight series was actually caught up in watching the film.

The effects were decent, I loved Michael Sheen as Aros, and I thought Taylor did a good job, considering how awful most of his dialogue was. Dakota Fanning did well with the little screen time she had too.

I'm still not a fan of Kristen Stewart, but I can't stand that character, so I don't think it helps. Pattinson is ok...he's barely in this one, but I liked the scenes between him and Taylor at the end. Should make the next film interesting.

I pretty much agree with this. New Moon is a much more polished movie than Twilight, even if it's still got the god-awful dialogue issue.

Michael Sheen completely steals the show for the 10 minutes he's in the movie, it's like he's giving everyone else an acting lesson.

I went to the last one. I didn't get a DVD - I'd gone to a Broadway show with a friend and we stopped at Borders afterwards so she could pick up hers. It wasn't nearly as fun as the Harry Potter midnight party.

IMDB has a new poster for Eclipse, which looks rather boring. But Nancy Richardson and Art Jones both have an editing credit.

Not trying to bash or anything, but they look horribly photoshopped together in that poster. I still feel most of New Moon's artwork should have been saved for Eclipse, especially the first pic released with Bella standing between Edward and Jacob.

Now, this is just me nitpicking but I feel like the tagline should have been something like "It ends with a choice" since these movies are almost done.

Just my opinions; no bashing intended.
