The Dark Knight The Untitled Batman Begins Sequel May Be Filmed Abroad

I believe that the Wayne Manner stuff was the only stuff filmed in England in Begins. I see no reason NOT to use Chicago again, however if they want to "enlarge Gotham" some more, I see no reason why they couldn't take bits of London and add them to Chicago footage. Plus you have the uber-studio with most of Gotham still intact there.

I was expecting them to film by the tube station. Liverpool might make an ok docks though, where did they film that stuff for Begins?

Tilbury Docks is where they shot that scene.

Thats not true they filmed a lot more in England. The prisons scenes, the Playboy-Bruce scenes at the restaurant, Gotham court house, Arkham Asylum are just a few of the scenes they shot in England.

Those pictures of Liverpools waterfront are really cool and I could so see it working as a location . I live near the big airship hangers so I'm hoping they will come back to do some more filming here .

Funny the only time I thought oh you could see we were in england as it were was just at the end where Bruce was in the ruins of the manor , the camera sort of pans round and I thought oh thats our lovely rolling countryside . That said I really liked how all the real locations were blended together with the big sets and CG shots .

Well Warner Bros renewed its lease on the hangars for a further 12 months so i think theres a big chance TDK will shooting there again.

Actually Liverpool DOES look like Nolan's Gotham. And Nolan's Gotham looks like Don Newton's Gotham.
