Also, question for everyone... who do you think is the hottest cast member? I asked my girlfriend this question and her response was, "ALL of them." I'd be inclined to agree, haha.

It's a really great looking cast but I would say Lito and Kala followed closely by Wolfgang and Riley.

It took me awhile to warm up to it, but I rather like it now. The problem I had at the beginning of it was twofold. At first, I was like "OK, these people are connected, but what should we be concerned about?" Then, after a few episodes, things started to jell and I liked it. The other problem was that I felt that they let sex get in the way of the character development of Nomi and Amanita. After a few episodes, they allowed the characters to breathe a little bit more and I really had a chance to like and respect them.

I'm about 1/2 way through and, if it keeps up, I'll definitely be looking forward to a season 2. Not Orphan Black looking forward, but definitely looking forward.

I finished it last night and have to say episodes 9-12 were about as good as I've seen just about anywhere. Amanita is quickly moving up the charts on my favorites list. Here's someone who isn't "in", is being told crazy stuff, and just has blind faith in her partner. Everyone should be as lucky as Nomi.

While not surprising, the portrayal/discussion of/about a transgender person and transgender issues is just about as good as it gets. Some of those scenes were so powerful and heart wrenching, I almost couldn't watch (but couldn't tear my eyes away either).

If Sense8 doesn't get picked up for a season 2, it will be an absolute shame and due to the way the first few episodes were done. I know it was important to set up the characters and a lot of work had to be done, but, IMO, the beginning could have been done better; and I'm not just talking about the issues I've already brought up.

Really great work by the Wachowskis. For me, this went WAY up the charts after seeing the entire season 1. Stellar.

I agree and think it will be. If it doesn't, however, I think it will be directly attributable to the first few episodes.....though as someone said, there were a lot of WTF moments in those......

It really would be a shame to not give this show another season. Not only are the characters and stories interesting, fun, and exciting but the diversity of the characters and how it's handled is probably the best I've seen on screen ever.

Im happy about this. The first season was a little off balance but had INCREDIBLY likeable and memorable characters which was its strength. With all the preliminaries out of the way, season 2 has no excuse not to be amazing.

They pointed it out at the tvline source itself but I guess it's interesting.

Apparently Netflix held back the renewal announcement till the birthdays of the Sensates. That actually sounds very positive for the future of this show going ahead that Netflix cared as much.
