I didn't like this movie and really really wanted too. It makes me wonder if he really directed V, as this just didn't feel the same. The direction was terrible, with the action hard to follow with the camera to close to the action. It was like I was watching a R-rated cut of GI:Joe or the bad action scenes from the Mummy 3.

It is a great action movie. I don't rely on critics forming my opinion on whether a movie is good or not.

I actually enjoyed Punisher War Zone despite some of the acting but the comparison is not a compliment and kind of worries me. The trailer looks cool though and this does sound fun , I'm looking forward to catching this tommorow.

their box office numbers dropped like 70%.. as i had imagined it would.

ninja assassin made 7mil(in half the theaters) and new moon 9mil this week

unfortunatly i dont see ninja assassin reaching 40mil domestically.. however the foreign numbers should be much bigger.

Just got back from seeing this and the fight scenes were pretty badass.

Only complaint my gf and I had with them is a good number of them used really fast cuts and were a bit shaky. I was still able to tell what was going on but when you have some fights edited at a good pace I don't get why others had to be so scrambled.

All in all I liked it. The blood was over the top but not too over the top like near the end of Kill Bill.

It's definitely a fun film with only a few lines that should have been taken out or changed.

I also don't get the comparisons to Punisher: War Zone. I enjoyed P:WZ as one of those films were it's so bad it's good in a entertaining but laughable way. This wasn't nearly as cheesy or dumb as P:WZ was at times.

The action in this movie is badass. There is a alot of brutality , especially with the flasbacks to the training I liked those. The beggining reminds me of Desperado .
The cgi blood doesnt ruin it for me and I like the way they handle the deep cuts . I wasn't to interested in the main plot but I liked the backstory and girl from the past.
Overall it was fun and things might move too fast for some people but it's stylized and not every fight is like that. The end fight was great but the actual ending felt like it needed something more.

I hope this is sucessful because i want to see more ninja films being made and i would liek a sequel to this although it is unlikely.

Sometimes too much gore is too much as well I just think it takes away from the action. Like Punisher did it relied too much on it at times and again it just takes away from the movie.I would of settled for more ass to the wall action w/o gore if they would of spent more on other aspects of the movie.
