The Watcher: Yay Or Nay?

If they are going to do Galactus and the Silver Surfer, why not go the whole nine yards and include the Watcher as well.

Eh. The WAtcher would be really pushing it. I say leave him in the comics. We already have Doom, probably Galactus, the Silver Surfer AND the Fantastic Four. The watcher would be taking too much time away from the other characters. This isn't gonna be a 3 hour movie =P

Absolutely no narrators. We have enough characters

Now that I think about the Narroration could work.It would add a extra Sci-Fi feel to it.

If there is narration, only do it once and explain the basic story. After that move on to the family and action.

I have no problem with them leaving him out, but then again it wouldn't be that crowded if they weren't shoehorning Dr. Doom into this film.
Lee & Kirby crafted the original Galactus/Silver Surfer epic with the Watcher very much involved (and Doom nowhere to be seen).
But then readers had known who the Watcher was for almost 40 issues at that point, and his appearance automatically meant something dire was about to go down.
So yeah. I agree, leave him out. There's no way they're going to use the "Ultimate Nullifier" conclusion anyway, and nothing for the Watcher to do in future films. We can all pretend he's still up there on the moon, but just watching things here and sticking to his vow of non-interference.

he could be the personification of all the catastrophe the world has seen in the past few years.........

i want the watcher their just so we can have a good explanation of who Galactus is otherwise ppl are going to wonder why the hell SS would tell them or Reed finds out .

As far as him stopping Galactus i want him to be a helping hand but no the one who does it.
