The Wolverine The Wolverine Unleashed Extended Edition Blu-Ray: December 3

The Wolverine Is one summer film this year I will be buying on DVD even if the director's cut Is only on Blu-Ray.

Ive seen it said the extended cut will be on DVD as well Blu-Ray, Mangold himself said it.

Well Mangold may want it on both but It will be up to Fox to put It on DVD.

If I can get both expanded versions of the WOlverine and Hobbit on DVD later this year I will be very happy.I held off getting the hobbit on DVD since both DVD and Bluray only hada the production blogs as special feature.I only watch the expanded versions of Lord of the
rings. If I can get the expnaded editiong of hobbit that's one I want to buy.

This will be first time save for dadrdevil, watchman and SUperman II to get director's cut or expanded version on DVD of superhero film.s

Please just don't tell me it's going to be a FAKE extended cut like Fast FIVE?

Fast Five added over 1 minute to the film.

NOT a extended cut if you ask me.... what a farce.

He should go all out an give us the entire 12 minutes or not do it at all.

I want to see Viper's deleted and extended scenes!

A sneak peak to the 2014 event film - X-Men: Days of Future Past!

When the Blu Ray comes out you will get an R version. I'll be curious for your reaction.

Hope this means the first consumer release!

Yeah, I must admit I could see the scenes where there should have been blood or at least more adult moments and there weren't.

Wolverine interrogating that guy who fell out of the car for example. I was happy with the cinematic release but I would support a more violent version

These weren't in the movie either:

Yup! I wonder why Mariko needed those wires, it looked like she fell off from something and Hugh caught her.

It was more likely so she'd be easier to carry while he ran, since her weight would be on the wires.

Maybe, but someone as huge as Jackman and as seemingly tiny as Mariko looked, she'd be no issue for his muscle tissue. :oldrazz:

It's not that she's too heavy for him, it's that it's safer for both of them if there needs to be a lot of running around or effects going or something. Reduces the risk of him dropping her, and it's easier for him to do whatever running around that needs to be done.

This is true. BTW, everytime I see your avvy, it makes me wanna watch BTTF. Lol

It seemed like they cut a lot of scenes from the movie. Wasn't there also an explosion when Wolverine was fighting the ninjas?

Do you know there's already a five-film set?

And you can preorder the 6 film set. But tbh, I think the only box set that makes sense so far is the original 3 films together, as they only keep adding to the series, and any new additions would seem like the odd film out in your collection.

Anyone else remember the horrible 7-film Harry potter set that stopped at 7 pt 1? What a waste.

With the revised covers? I remembered that but I didn't buy it. I only bought the first 2-disc DVD editions of all 8 Harry Potter movies.

I honestly don't think I have been that disappointed in a long time. I was so excited. Nice little set up, beautiful setting, plenty of ninjas. Harada's little intro is nice. Then nothing. 2 mins of running. What the hell?!?!?!

From what we're hearing, the PG-13 rating was in jeopardy with the full scene.

Don't say such things to me. It makes it hurt more. Now because if it is as awesome as the set up seemed to indicate, then I am probably never going to get to see that on the big screen.

Also, did they change Harada's line from the tv spots? I remember something about accepting his surrender in the tv spots, but don't remember hearing it in the movie. I loved the line in the tv spots.
