Does anybody think that the police and political corruption touched upon in Batman Begins will be further expored in TDK ? I think that the Loeb/Mayer Evil aspects of Year 1 would make for a good 3 film arc, with the criminals who work from within the system to keep the city in the hands of the crime lords evading justice untill film 3. We could still see the damage they do, maybe making Dents job impossible or having Gordan beaten to a pulp.

This storyline could come to a head with Two-Face (realizing that destroying freaks and ordinary gansters is useless without going to the root of the problem with the people who keep Gotham the way it is ) hanging a bunch of crooked officials from the roof of city hall. I think that Rupert Thorn(maybe as a city councillor) would be the perfect character to epitimise the organised corruption and evil in the city, as a guy who operates in both the underworld and the respectable one, showing the link that exists.

Okay, THIS is interesting.

Combine Harvey and The Hangman from Dark Victory and just hanging who he thinks is guilty in judgement? That'd be pretty cool.

Kind of like how I hope they go with Joker in TDK. Combine Joker with Holiday, except leave out the Holiday motif and just have Joker bump off gangsters and the cities High-Class Elite.

I hope so and I think those are great ideas ^ especially two-face hanging guys from city hall
