Justice League The Wonder Twins: Zan & Jayna

Ah. Gen X- and Gen-Y Cartoon Network fans will remember these characters well.

Zan could transform into any form of water/vapor/ice.

Jayna could transform into any animal, including alien creatures.

Now that the Avengers are introducing Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, the Justice League films could use the Wonder Twins in Justice League part 2. They could be refugees from their home planet, and the warlord Mongul could be used as a villain.

No gleek is necessary, but if they use him, it should be a smaller-monkey size, not chimp size; something that can easily sit on Jayna's shoulder.

Because of their past on Super Friends, I don't think there is a way to put Zan & Jayna into any JL movie, and have it be taken seriously.

Before that could happen, DC would have to revamp the characters, and have them be regular characters in a running title.

It was tried with Extreme Justice, and readers seemed to enjoy it, but the comic was cancelled.

they also appeared in Young Justice for 3 issues, revamped. If this version could become 'popular', it could help.

that might work....when the Super Friends comic series ran, they handled the twins much better than the TV show did.
