The Worst TV Characters

Has anyone said the obligatory Scrappy Doo yet? I'm too lazy to check.

Felicity from season three of Arrow

Michelangelo from the 2012 TMNT Obnoxious, unfunny, and literally too stupid to breathe.

Screech - Saved By The Bell
Lori - The Walking Dead
Barbara - Gotham
Mark - Home Improvement
George - Seinfeld
Any character Jessica Lange plays on American Horror Story (except for Coven, enjoyed that one for some reason)

.......

Now THAT'S a new one. :wow:

How can anyone hate on Art Vandelay?

Bo and Luke Duke
Eric Forman
The Incredible Hulk (live-action series)
Ernest T. Bass

I'll throw in Kate Argent from Teen Wolf. The only character I hate from that show, she is kind of a useless antagonist and a heartless wench.

^^
What ? I liked this show when I was young, improbable driving, flying cars and Daisy Duke's smallest denim short of the world.

that's about the ONLY good thing about the show... Daisy and her Dukes shorts... everything else about those yayhoos on the show sucked...

I think the two listed in this thread that I REALLY disagree with are George Costanza and Ernest T. Bass (especially George).

Its more so because I hate Jason Alexander that I hate George. In all honesty too, I dislike Seinfeld as a show, so the whole cast I deem as horrible characters.

That's the point. They're supposed to be horrible characters (well, "horrible" as in immoral, not as in bad).

Oh I know, but the humor on that show just isn't for me. The only episode I can think of that I enjoyed was the one where Kramer is using blood in his gas tank.

I'm glad that so many people hated Tara.

By the time that show was going into its death throes, Tara was one of the only characters that I DID like. Tara, Pam, Andy and Eric were the only things keeping me watching in the last few seasons.

I would say Sookie and Bill were much, much worse towards the end.

It seemed universal.

She should have stayed dead. If anything, she slightly tarnished Pam by having that half assed lesbian romance that the writers knew was stupid so they dropped it like it was nothing. Then we got to see her die off screen and have precious screentime wasted on Lafayette searching for some bulls***. That slightly tarnished his character, who had freaking magical powers that was never really utilized.

Motherf*** that show after season 3.

:cmad: :down

I saw about two minutes of that short-lived "Mulaney" show and that guy might have been the worst lead actor I've seen on any TV show ever. So I also think he deserves to be on this list.

Also, Julia and Matt on Nip/Tuck from season 4 onward. That show was brilliant in its first three seasons but after the Carver storyline, it didn't know what to do with itself and those two characters in particular deserved to get their heads caved in with a meat hammer.

I hated Althea Jerry from the last season of Sons Of Anarchy. She tries too hard to be a badass and comes across, as a snob or a nosey wench.

Ugh, I hated Matt from day one. But yeah, the Carver storyline is where I dropped that show. This happens to all of Ryan Murphy's shows, imo. He can't sustain quality for longer than a season or two. The American Horror Story anthology format is good for him because they start fresh every season.

Other terrible TV characters? I hated Charlie from Lost. HATED.

Teri Bauer on 24. Thankfully she only lasted a season. Her daughter wasn't much better, but she kinda redeemed herself before the end.

Quinn from Dexter. I never did figure out why they kept giving that guy storylines. And honestly, Dexter himself became kinda terrible around S6 or so.

I like The Blacklist, but I think the lead actress in that is pretty terrible.

In retrospect, every supporting character on 'Dexter' was awful. Except Doakes of course.

'Dexter' literally had one of the crappiest supporting casts on almost any drama series. And those that didn't start out crappy, had their characterization ruined and became crappy like his sister. I can't believe I liked that show at one point.

If anyone needs to be reminded of how bad they were, watch any scene of the show that takes place in the police station between two of the supporting-cast characters that DOESN'T involve Dexter or his sub-plots. The writers had no idea what they were doing with them.

I don't understand why The Vampire Diaries keeps Enzo around.

The guy tries far too hard to be a badass and is just a whiney prick, who wants to ruin the life of a girl, who has nothing to do with his beef with Stefan.

every cast member of the 1966 Batman show, especially Aunt Harriet, Chief O'Hara, Robin and Batgirl... and the majority of the villains were no better, with the exceptions of Burgess Meredith as the Penguin, Frank Gorshin as the Riddler, Victor Buono as King Tut and Julie Newmar as the Catwoman....
