Revenge of the Fallen The worsts part of the movie and other criticisms.

The Fallen? He and Starscream was up on Saturn babysitting the whole entire time? So it means that when Megatron got whopped in the first film, he was still up there. I mean he pretty much just sit around waiting until Optimus was killed to make his presence known. I think he is scared of Optimus....not much of a bad guy at all but a washup decepticon.

they basicly f.. up the Fallen. there is no going back.but i think they can use this now to show how powerfull megatron really is.
in the movie the Fallen was weaker and afraid IMO. megatron is nothing from this. they can use this in the 3rd movie. some dialoge.

but the Fallen.............is noone in the TF movie universe

The way Arcee was handled was horrible. She fires off a few shots at Sideswipe in the beginning, then says one line in the desert battle before getting shot.

The moronic Twins got all that screen time, while much more interesting TFs like Arcee got shafted.

And yes, the editing throughout this film was HORRIBLE. Most of the robot battles were even more jumbled and confusing than the first film.

I didn't mind the Twins, the fighting of the movie at times were hard to see because of the camera movement and close ups.

I think they gave Bay too much freedom, his direction of cinematography was hard to not get dizzy. A example would be when Makela said bye to Sam, there was no need to do a 360 around Makela on a steadycam.

Every big fight scene, the camera found a way to hide behind a tree or pillar or rock or person....etc, I knowthey did it to save on graphic money, but it's friggin annoying to only see half the fights.

yeah the ''epic'' 360 shot just didnt feel right there.

The whole film, with exception of the action sequences. Seriously, I've never felt such a disconnect with the rest of the movie going public. I thought this film was unbearable.

These points are part of my review on the review thread, but since every point is negitive they also suit this thread.

1. First two minutes, 17,000 BC. Please.....

2. The whole Witwicky family, especially that annoying (now turned comedian) Mother. The college scene where she makes a complete twit of herself?? WTF....

3. Every supermodel/porn-star shot of Mikaela, cringe, cringe and lets all cringe again. Megan Fox can't act for toffee. The conversation at the start on the phone to Sam, the music during it. WTF....

4. In an age of technology (That Michael Bay is constantly making us aware of) How the hell do these Robots stay a secret. Causing carnage in Shanghai, anyone got a camera phone handy? Obviously not as Prime and his buddies still remain top secret after their mission, and what a confusing blend of CGI that mission was....

5. Characters that are annoying to the EXTREME or none existing in their development. The twins?? and who are all these other Transformers?? WTF....

6. Is this a kids movie? The first certainly catered for all ages but not this one. However I'm also confused as the level of pornographic/adult humour was intense, it wasn't even cleverly ambiguous or subtle, just totally in your face. So much so I'm pretty sure even the kids knew what was going on with some of the comments....

7. Shia having his mental breakdown stage. WTF....and ANNOYING....

8. Michaels constant (wet dream on film) love for the US Military. ENOUGH we know you're a boy scout, Superman isn't as bad as this idiot. Why, Michael do ALL your movies look and play out the same? (Explosions, slow-mo, golden sun, explosion, USA military rules, more slow-mo etc etc etc....) Give it up or at least try to evolve as a film maker....

9. The amount of running, goodness sake Sam had to run and run and run. Use Bumblebee? Also how BAD are the decepticons at killing people?

10. TOO many comic reliefs, Sam room-mate, the parents, the twins, Sector 6 guy, please too many STOP....

11. Plot/script....totally useless and almost non-existent.

12. Acting from EVERYONE (With the exception of a couple of voice actors).

13 Last but not least, the direction. Utterly disastrous.

Does anyone else see the irony of Green Day signing on to the soundtrack of this movie? Green Day, who are supposedly anti-Republican, anti-war darlings of MTV liberals?

Have not seen the movie yet but the way you guys are talking it is not as good as the first. Still it will make more money which well mean a thrid. So far my idea on the movie is bad humor. Did Bay think that people dieing left and right was too much for a kid movie so well use sex to fill the void. WTF? My hype for this movie has fallen after reading these reviews.

That every scene of dialogue between Megan and Shia only used a 180 shot that would switch to each character's POV when they were talking. It's obvious that Bay doesn't want us to care for what they're saying since the instrumental pop music playing is almost too loud to understand what they're saying.

Seriously, my major criticism is that the movie should not have been called "Revenge of the Fallen". That was the worst revenge I have ever seen. The Fallen got completely DOMINATED by Prime at the end. They should have just called the movie "Transformers 2".

How about RETURN of the Fallen?

Thats what i was trying to say but you just explained it alot better than i did hehe.

It was way too over the top and i have to take my kid to see that because i promised her and transformers is our thing, its going to be tricky having to cover some of that stuff somehow, ill just be constantly trying to distract her or cover her eyes in those parts, Not cool at all.

especially the part where alice has him on the bed, kids shouldnt have to see that ****.

The Twins -- EASILY. Don't care that they're stereotypes.. I care that they were irritating as ****. Just to reirterate post#1, I too was sad when Devastator didn't eat them.

The Fallen -- the movie is NAMED after this waste of a character and the 'menacing' build-up fell ridiculously flat. And directly tied to this...

Megatron -- The fact that Megatron, who RULED the first movie, even calls the Fallen 'master'. And while on the subject, much like Darth Vader diminishing in Return of the Jedi-- was no longer some huge threat. In TF1, Autobots retreat when they see him. In TF2, his badass status took a huge downturn for apparently no other reason than to satisfy the Optimus fanservice (but don't get me wrong -- Optimus being badass was a highlight.)

Soundwave -who's only crucial scene is doing a hentai tentacle rape on a satellite

Continuity -Yeah the Constructicon thing. Seriously even if you're NOT familiar with the characters, you can't tell me the average person wasn't like.. "What the hell? Isn't this guy OVER THERE?"

Screentime for Sideswipe, Arcee, Ironhide, Ratchet, and everyone else that is cool - was sacrificed for annoying characters like Simmons, Sam's roommate, Wheelie and 2 idiot brother robots that didn't do anything useful other than transport humans from one place to another? What heroic act did they accomplish -- oh that's right -- they AVOIDED getting eaten. Good job!
