The Wrestling Figure Thread

I saw an old beat up figure had to be from the 80s, some little bend 'em figure, resealed and returned to a walmart.

Now I remember why I rarely watch TNA.

4 out of the 6 guys currently wrestling in the main event I've already seen wrestle each other 10-15 times in WWE.

Yea, it's Dudley Boys/Kurt Angle VS Rikishi/LAX.

I can't even count how many times I've seen the Dudleys and Rikishi fight, and I'm certain that Angle and Rikishi went at it. Even more, I know Angle and the Dudleys feuded during the Invasion.

Bleh. It's like watching WCW with fatter, older, more boring versions of WWE's story lines from the early part of the 2000's.

That and I hate the 6-sided ring. It just looks too small for anyone to move around in. All the action has to take place in the center.

Why does anyone give Russo credit? People give him credit for the attitude era, but he wasn't a whole company. He wasn't the wrestlers, the producers, the other writers, or the owner. He put a belt with a history older than him on david arquette...

I've pooped better ideas.

I dunno why. I'd never credit him for anything.

Did you see the new images from the 2007 Toyfair?

They're making new DA figures with extra hands and heads. There's also a new deluxe scale Hell in a Cell, and an arena playset with security barricades, a stage, chairs, commentators table, everything.

Those are bigass 10-13" DAs brah. Called Maximum Aggression.

I'll get that Hell in the Cell brah. Oh hot damn, it will be awesome. And the arena set for my boy.

Did you see the 4 inch scale DA figures?

I'd consider getting the arena set but I don't think it'll fit my ring.

If they are they're badass. I thought it was just regular DA revamps. I like the HHH.

I know I wouldn't get them now, but when I was younger I would have bought everyone I could have. Back when my GI joe collection was at it's highest in the early and mid 90's (I actually didn't watch the show, but I loved the figures and stuff), I made little wrestling belts for 'em. My GI Joe Guile was always the world champ and feuded with this dude from the Corps line.

Dude. GI Joe Guile was a fav of mine too. I never did the belt thing but I'd cut construction paper strips and such and tape "armor" onto them and it was cool because they'd suffer "damage" and I could even set the construction paper on fire. It was seriously awesome fun.

BOOYAH!!!
