If I ever wanted to see a reunion of sorts, it would be those two guys getting back together and beating the holy hell out of DX. Just because.

Jericho is so important to WWE right now that it isn't fair. I'd wager that he's wrestling more than anyone else in the company, and he's likely cutting the most promos as well. the travel, abuse to his body, and overuse of his character are not good for him in the long term. As much as I enjoy his work, I look forward to him being in a sensible singles feud on one show.

If DX wins the tag titles, youd better believe that the only way they are losing them is if one of them turns heel for a Wrestlemania match between the two. My prediction is that mid match HHH turns heel and pedigrees HBK, allowing some "lesser" team t win the gold, and then the tag titles become worthless again as Hart Dynasty feuds with Primo and Chris Masters or something...

I agree about Jericho. There was one week during the summer that he wrestled three times--this was after winning the tag belts--each on PPV, RAW, and Smackdown. Hard worker.

My hope is that DX loses against Show and Jericho.
HHH Gets mad and attacks HBK since HBK has been responcable for a few of their loses and the fact HBK dropped HHH with his finnisher in the last title match. DN Needs to go, thankfully DX this time around has been pretty good at putting over other talent at times.

Setting up Show and Jericho vs a Returning Edge (when is that anyways?) and his Partner.. Christian.

WWE and Edge have both been saying that Edge is nowhere near being ready to return. However, i think that's a work.

I read an interview with Edge very recently where he said he could barely put pressure on his leg, and then a day or two later he was at an awards show in Australia jogging across the stage.

Bull Buchanan Discusses Umaga’s Passing, His Work In Japan, More

See what Bull has to say…

Transcript credit: worldwrestlinginsanity.com

Get ready for the ClubWWI.com audio show that's never censored. But, if he wanted to...it would be his Right. Yup. It's time to jump into The Bullpen with the one and only former GHC and WWE Tag Team Champion Bull Buchanan.

Bull returns to ClubWWI.com for a monster 70 minute edition of the Bullpen that features more of the in-depth analysis about the world of wrestling that listeners have come to expect. Among the topics Buchanan and James Guttman discuss are: The Death of Eki "Umaga" Fatu, Umaga Returning to WWE, Personal Memories of Eki, The Three Men Vince McMahon Didn't Want Roaming Free, ESPN's Story on Brain Damage and Wrestling, WWF Health Insurance, TNA vs. WWE Monday Night Battle, Why TNA Will Change Wrestling Whether It Fails or Succeeds, The Amazing Story of Big Boss Man's WWE Hiring, 1987 Hulk Hogan vs. 2009 Hulk Hogan, The Bischoff Factor, WWE on The Moon, WWF Health Insurance Cards, Pre-Vince Payouts, The B2 Gimmick, Long-Term Studies on What Wrestling Does To Its Performers, Chris Benoit, Gary Hart, Truth Commission, Dixie Carter, and tons more. (Full List of Topics available at: http://www.worldwrestlinginsanity.com/am2/publish/newsnotes/bp11.shtml )

ClubWWI.com members know that Bull has shared stories about Eki "Umaga" Fatu in the past. The two worked together in Japan, among other locations, and Buchanan has always spoken highly of him. With the news of Eki's tragic passing coming last week, many who knew him were left shaken. Buchanan was no exception, as he explains to James Guttman…

"Yup. Good friend. Spent a lot of years in Japan together. You know, here and there and everywhere. Yeah. Tough week. Didn't really see that coming. I guess nobody really did. Don't know if you ever do. I was fortunate enough to talk to him before he left for Australia. He was looking forward to doing that. Thought he, well I think he had talked to one of the Japan companies about doing a tour early in the year. I think it was no secret that he was looking to go back to WWE pretty soon. I think he was going to use that to piggy-back in, you know, get back in shape. So, yeah, I mean. Things were looking good. He actually was just talking about his oldest son, who was already being recruited by Georgia Tech, so we were hoping to make some plans where they could come out (to where Bull lives) and hang out. I guess wrestling's no different than the other parts of life. These things get thrown at us sometimes and we have to keep moving."

James points out the sudden death of Umaga is different than names like Rick Rude, Test, or Chris Benoit in that many of those stars had most of their in-ring highlights behind them. In the case of Eki, it felt as though the world had only begin to see what he was capable of. JG points to a match he brings up often during ClubWWI.com audios, Umaga vs. John Cena. That match shocked many people and the shocking moments Umaga still had left to make were plentiful. Bull agrees and tells an amazing story about Eki's work in Japan…

"People who have watched him in WWE, he really had not shown some of the stuff we saw every night over in Japan. Because as talented as he was, he was a smart guy too. He was raised in this business and was very smart in this business. He knew you don't give everybody everything all at one time. There were a lot of things, just a lot of amazing athletic things he could do, and I asked him, "When you going to pull that out?" He said, "Ah. That's a WrestleMania Moment." We were tagging one night in some little town in Japan and me and D-Lo (Brown) were standing outside the ring. He gets knocked down and the guy hits the ropes and before he could come back, Eki had kipped up, hit him with a clothesline, ran and springboarded off the second rope. Now this guy was pushing 320, 330. He springboarded off the second rope and moonsaulted the guy. And me and D-Lo looked and said, "Holy *****!" Are you kidding me? Just an amazing athlete and a real good guy."

It was that athleticism that lead to some amazing matches with, well, anyone. Buchanan explains…

"If anybody ever gets a chance and cares to look at it, if you look at any of the All Japan stuff he did between 2003 and, I guess, 2005. He had some unbelievable matches with guys like Kawada, Muta…I think had he stayed in Japan, he would have went on to win the Triple Crown. I think had he not passed last week, he would have been WWE Champion. He had that kind of rapport with Vince (McMahon) and the people in charge there."

Bull shares many stories about his time with Eki from thoughts on his family to stories of his athletic prowess outside wrestling. He also looks at the upcoming TNA vs. WWE showdown, Hulk Hogan in 2009, brain damage and wrestling, Vince McMahon: The Pied Piper, and tons more. It's one of the most in-depth audios you'll find anywhere with a man who has won gold around the world. Remember, you can hear over 200 big name wrestling stars on ClubWWI.com and other audio shows hosted by Erik Watts, Paul Roma, and many others former WWE, WCW, and TNA stars.

Congrats to World Wrestling Insanity for having the sack to try to pass Bull Buchanan off as someone worth reading about.

JR regarding some interesting topics via his blog:

-Ross on chairshots to the head: "Concussions are a big issue in sports today and let's not forget that pro wrestling/sports entertainment or whatever in the hell one wants to call it doesn't have the franchise on this dilemma. However, chair shots to the skull should be forbidden in wrestling. Period. End of story. Bottom line."

-Ross on Eddie "Umaga" Fatu:"Eddie Fatu's funeral services are later in the week in Las Vegas. If you want to send flowers or cards you can call the Davis Funeral Home at 702-736-6200."

-Ross calls for medical testing programs: "I do encourage all wrestling organizations to instill as stringent a testing program as is possible for concussions, heart issues, etc and to monitor how many days an individual is booked either monthly or annually. Plus, establishing a zero tolerance policy regarding drug abuse is a gimme. Being in the wrestling business should be a privilege not one's right. If one accepts the glory and money one can earn as a successful wrestler in a major company then they should have no issue being a good citizen and living a clean life."

I don't agree with that at all. I like hardcore matches. And pro wrestling doesn't need a union. Unions are bad for the most part.

Not really. I dont need to know everyone's opinion on Umaga. Did the two of them ever have a match in WWE?? If not, then most wrestling fans arent aware of them even knowing each other. His views on Umaga are about as worthless as the guy who sets up the ring at the indie shows. I'm not sure why anyone cares what Glacier or Bill Mulkey thinks of Umaga's death.

I'd have to agree here

Remember when Benoit died, and guys like Marc Mero and Steve Blackman popped up doing tons of interviews. It comes off as an attempt to get press, even if it isn't.

I usually don't post news stuff here, but this really made me laugh lol

- The Right After Wrestling show on Sirius radio sent out the following announcement, regarding their interview with Hulk Hogan, and his claims as far as his TNA debut goes…
HOGAN SAYS THAT TNA IMPACT RATINGS WILL "TRIPLE" ON JANUARY 4

When interviewed by Arda Ocal and Corey Erdman of the "Right After Wrestling" program on SIRIUS 98, Hulk Hogan predicted that Nielson ratings would triple to a 3.0 on his debut appearance on TNA Impact on Monday January 4. Hogan went on to list names such as AJ Styles and Matt Morgan as guys with "something there" and that he will look to mold and "bring to life".

The full interview will air on "Right After Wrestling" on Monday night December 14 at 11pm EST on SIRIUS Channel 98, Hardcore Sports Radio.

I don't know how to respond to that

I predict Raw's diehard audience will not bother to watch, and TNA's audience will switch back and forth. If the ratings dont go down for that episode then I'll be shocked.

Jericho is rumored to be taking time off soon, early 2010 so that his band can go on tour.

How are Impact ratings going to triple when they are going up against the Fiesta Bowl?

The 12/8 edition of ECW did a 0.8 rating. I think it's pretty clear that as WWE puts less focus on the show, the numbers keep heading southward.

It's interesting to me because he divulged a few details about Umaga's time in Japan. I didn't know he could kip up and hit a moonsault off the second rope. I knew he was athletic, but I didn't know how much.

Cant wait till ECW is dead once and for all. Let my memories rest with the Name.

Hogan appearing on NBC with WWE's name behind it couldnt hit a 3.0, what makes him think it'll happen on Spike with TNA against heavy direct competition?

speaking of the Fiesta Bowl on Jan 4, if you visit their website the WWE has a little promo with John Cena (correction, its the announcement of the bowl and John Cena being the Grand Marshal of the parade)
