Apparently our thread was the nWo to the SHH boards WCW. Well I thought I'd get it started since we now need a new thread. This is the place to PRAISE Smackdown!!! Oh yea an talk about WWE, TNA, ROH, an how bad Raw is. Lets get started folks!

"TNA President Dixie Carter Buying Out Jeff Jarrett?"

PWTorch.com reports that there are backstage rumours in TNA that Dixie Carter intends to buy Jeff Jarrett out and make major creative changes.

“Dixie has seized complete control of the company and she will be going over the Jarrett allies (closely),” said one TNA source. “If anyone in her inner circle has something bad to say about those people, they could be gone.”

Dixie Carter is the majority share holder in TNA although she has rarely inserted power or authority, leaving such to Jeff Jarret. It remains to be seen if a buyout will go ahead however one should not hold their breath as no immediate announcement is expected.

I wonder where such thing would lead to.

On one hand, it will be good to have a change in the landscape in TNA, especially where the creative team is concerned. For a couple of years now, the quality of TNA's product is increasingly low and the company is turning into a poor man's WWE. With Dutch Mantel gone and now diminishing Jarrett's influence, they may be on the right track.

On the other hand, Dixie Carter doesn't know squat about wrestling and I don't know if she can make all the right decisions...

well if Kurt Angle has such a tight bond and big influence on Dixie as reported, her buying out TNA completely could be a great thing for TNA if she has te right people in place.

Angle is an old school mentality kind of guy and if Dixie gives him a some creative control the company could turn things around.

One would assume. Just a dumb thing to do on Jeff's part, there was only gpong to be one winner.

Unfortunately I can see all the booking power going to Angle/ Foley and Nash. Three of the biggest ego's in wrestling.

i was just checking out the WWE website and i noticed how summerslam get's its own flash based site when you click the link. They're really trying hard to make it look like a WM level PPV but its just not working for me.

As long as they don't bring Bischoff in, they should be fine with the changes made. If they do bring him in, bring him in solo.
