YES!

and then we get an Orton cash in on DB...could be interesting.
And I thought the WHC belt looked huge on him!

I didn't really like that last segment. The WWE basically made the crowd accomplices in destroying the roster because they knew who they wanted. It's a little unfair to the other guys. They could have done it a different way. Also, Cole was at his *****iest saying "You got to hand it to John Cena". So basically, Bryan is lucky that Cena chose him and we should all just be satisfied that Bryan is getting a title shot at all.

I'm calling it now, Cena is going to win and the WWE will sell it as Bryan was just fortunate to be there to begin with. He's not going to be treated as a formidable challenger or a threat to Cena's reign.

That RVD/Y2J match was great, and Cena should have asked the fans if they wanted to see the Brooklyn Brawler vs Cena.It could've been a classic.

The way Punk and Bryan are being pushed gives me a slimmer of hope that Rollins, Ohno, Zayn and Cesaro end up in the same position.

I felt the same about this part.

You may have a point. I'm hoping he exceeds that position though.

If Cena retired, turned heel, or got hurt, I think DB would be the de facto old school face (Make A Wish, interviews, etc).

Of course hopefully at that point he'd shave.

Orton winning MITB leads me to think otherwise.

Hero needs to get on the main roster first and foremost. He's about the same age as Punk, isn't he? If so, he hasn't got much time to climb the ladder like the younger guys if it's going to be a lengthy one.

Agreed. I could see Bryan filling the main face of the company role well if it came to it.

I wouldn't mind seeing The Brothers of Destuction vs The Wyatt Family at SS. ;)

So my guess for the Summerslam card:

WWE Championship
John Cena vs. Daniel Bryan

CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar

World Heavyweight Championship
Alberto Del Rio vs. Sheamus

Bray Wyatt vs. Kane

Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Sandow

Dolph Ziggler vs. Big E Langston

Randy Orton vs. RVD

The Shield vs. Mark Henry, The Uso's

I guessed Orton/RVD because they were the last two in the All-Star MITB match and I think it would further cement Orton going tweener/heel.

Agreed. Have him continue to earn his spot, continue to prove himself. If you weren't going to give him the Money In The Bank briefcase, then have him win a #1 contenders' match. Have him win a one-night tournament. Anything other than Cena gracing him with a title shot.

Speaking of which, that skit with Maddox and the Levesques has me a bit concerned. "We think we know who he's gonna pick, and Vince won't be happy." It's bad enough they they're gonna insert the Bellas into this match. It doesn't need the McMahon-Helmsley regime too.

It's mind blowing that Bryan becoming the top guy is more than a pipe dream.

He's the most over guy in the company and has had the most interesting story in the past few months. Why not?

I don't think that final segment was meant to be Cena picking Bryan, it was meant to be the WWE fans choosing the match they wanted, it unusual but it showed a lot of faith as Nell said.

Well then they had better move on to the next up and coming darling then.. :oldrazz:

Step forth Mr. Cesaro! :D

I wonder if AJ Styles wonders the same. Would've been great to have the founding foundations of ROH make it to the big leagues.

AJ's reasoning's though were at least based around his family. In the case of Joe he had the chance but was worried that he wouldn't get used right so he didn't take the risk. Punk and Bryan had a snowballs chance in hell just the same, but went for it.

The WWE Universe voiced who they wanted the most. And they wanted Bryan. Simple as that.

If I were booking this, I wouldn't have Bryan win it right away at SS. he should come extremely close, but no cigar. He'll ask for a rematch, which Cena will say he'll have to earn this time. Bryan will, leading to the rematch at NOC. Here is where Bryan wins, the crowd erupts and Bryan basks in finally being top dog....when Orton's music hits, he cashes in, ruining everything for Bryan and turning heel. This leads to Cena/Orton/Bryan at HIAC, at which Orton barely escapes with the title. I would finally have Bryan win the title at SS, where he would start his actual run.

So....basically a 50/50 booking predicament that WWE almost ALWAYS puts themselves in?

Soon Bryan will be in a position where he will have a say in his storylines.

How'd the show come across on TV, especially us in the crowd. I'd say we were hype for most of the night, especially during the punk/leaner RVd vs y2j and cena/Bryan parts
