The devaluing of the DDT along with the loss of the traditional piledriver are two of the biggest casualties of the modern era. Hopefully Ambrose can resurrect the DDT as AntMan mentioned.



I think so, he's definitely some well off guy who's not connected to the industry. The only other possibility is Tara as Metallo mentioned, but I just can't see her and Cena.

That story was admitted to be false by the guy who started the rumor. I agree with Hunter. Not that Cena probably wouldn't try but Tara doesn't seem to be the type to do that. Plus any pushes she had around 2007 were minor compared to the push other girls have gotten when they hook up with top stars. That gives me doubts more than anything. Mickie got pushed pretty well around the period she's rumored to have been with Cena. Candace DID get a top level push.

Gail Kim was still in TNA in 2007 and when she did return in the second half of 2008 she quickly became a glorified jobber.

How come it feels like NOW WWE are hypocrites if they've "always been"? I never felt like Vince or top guys like Austin and Rock tried to be role models.

Is there anyone from the NFL or NBA that is with that campaign?

No, but the NFL considered a manly sport. Then again, the NFL does it's Play 60 Campaign to combat childhood obesity (which is awesome for the NFL to do, despite the song in the commercials being annoying as hell).

However, football players have a perception that they were usually the bullies themselves in high school (the jocks picking on the nerds). So it doesn't surprise me that the NFL hasn't come on board that campaign. It does surprise me a bit that the NBA and Major League Baseball has not come on board though.

I think that the anti-bullying campaign would greatly benefit though if it had associations with the NBA, NFL and MLB rather than WWE, especially from the NFL, with that sport as popular as it is.

How come it feels like NOW some people think the WWE BEGAN with the Attitude Era and only reference that?

They were around before then and DID have guys who saw themselves as role models and even after they claimed they were just "entertainment" making "movies" when they clearly targeted children as potential consumers as well. You can't use the excuse of "its all pretend" THEN degrade your employees for real when thats clearly not part of the "pretend" aspect. "Pretend" doesn't mean its ok for guys to metaphorically stab other people in the back for real.

They didn't do an anti bullying campaign in the late 90's and rightfully so but their hypocrisy over the years extends well beyond the discussion of bullying and on air role models.

All that doesn't change the fact that The WWE has always had its share of politics especially behind the scenes.

Has a lot to do with that world wide web invention. Makes it easier to learn about the politics, *****ebags, and craftiness of the business. I had no idea about HHH's political clout until 2001 when I started reading the news reports.

Is WWE planning on upgrading some of their DVD's to Blu Ray? I always get iffy on buying DVD's if they're just gonna convert them to Blu Ray.

I doubt that they will update old DVDs to Blu Ray. I think there is a better chance that they'll realease a new Jericho Blu Ray rather than converting the old one.
