TNA was actually pretty good until that WTF waste of time ending. We went from potentially stupid and awful revelation to a pointless "who gives a f***" revelation.

Hopefully they just move on from this like it didn't happen and get back to using AJ in something people might give a damn about.

Yeah I knew Mickie would get the nod since she could do the best job making Brooke Tessmacher look as good as possible. And I await Mickie's heelturn. She's an awesome heel and she's been a face for a long time so nows as good a time as any. The seem to not want to use Sarita much and the other heels (that are actually around) have been used a lot. This gives Tessmacher another one to go through in a long program.

Are these two guys actually country & western stars? It just seems odd how into TNA they are that they are putting their wrestlers into their music videos unless they are just starting out and have a link to Dixie.

I'll admit, that was pretty out of nowhere. I was banking on AJ being a child Dixie had when she was younger and gave up for adoption.

AJ is 35, is Dixie old enough to make that work? plus AJ is religous so I don't think he'd go for that angle. They should've just done a cougar weakness angle with AJ and played like Brazzers.

TNA deserves every bit of crap they'll get for that closing segment. That was about as bad as anything I've seen in wrestling in the past couple of years.

I'm at least hoping with the live format that they'll realize what a dud that segment was and switch gears on this insipid storyline. Since there is no taping 2-3 weeks worth of Impact shows, they are not committed to bad stories and angles and have room now to make changes. It's one of the benefits of going live.

This story has been bittersweet with AJ Styles. On the one hand he is in a very prominent high-end spot on TV given that it involves Dixie Carter. The storyline has been given a lot of focus and AJ is all over TV; however, the angle blows and it is a shame he is not in a World Title program or another prominent spot where he can focus on his strengths as a character and wrestler.


Mickie James turning heel would give the charcter some much needed juice. I love Mickie James, but her character feels a bit lifeless now. I agree she played an awesome heel back in WWE and I think her going completely nuts and turning into a ***** would do her wonders. It would freshen up the Knockout Division as well and give Assmacher a good foil to play off of.

I know it's not what I'm supposed to be looking at but I couldn't help but notice that's a nice belt design, especially given WWE's Turkish brothel belt.

Yes they are. They've been around for a number of years on the country scene and had some hits.

I have no clue. I have never heard of her having a kid. I'm not sure if that was done for the video or if she actually has one. I'm thinking the former. I would think given the number of house shows and independent shows she wrestles, combined with the fact her boyfriend is also an active wrestler, she would not have a kid running around at home.

Never saw TNA's Knockout Championship before just now and sadly it looks better then our WWE Championship has since 2005.

I'd gladly take them both as is but I'm sure they could get a guy with the right tool willing to hammer out the problems.

Plus ass vs ass...their powers are pretty evenly matched. Mickie's ass is like Superman to Brookes Captain Marvel. Yes Brookes ass is magical.

Since TNA is has offices in Nashville there might be some kind of connection with Carter or her husband (who is in the music biz I think).

I was wondering the same thing. Kinda ruins the fantasy...although...since its Velvet it wouldn't shock me. But like Superark said it seems like she works every show so when would she even have time for a kid. Although...MILF? Mmmm.

I'd have gone for some kind of family secret like AJ had a health scare or one of his family members did and didn't want others to know about it so Dixie was there for him. The bullsh** they trotted out tonight made ZERO sense in relation to the awkward footage of them we've seen together.

It was so confusing that I have to wonder if they changed the big reveal mid angle for some reason or if Dixie actually came up with this awful angle herself.

Haven't watched all of it yet as I'm off to work but what I have seen so far is fantastic.

Regal and JR announcing work great together and the whole set up of the show is great. Not overly flashy like RAW & SD, just a simple stage, small crowd and great in ring action!

That was a damn fine main event. And I never thought I'd type this, but put McSillyputty on TV. He's gotten so much better. That was a PPV quality match, you know, if WWE still had a quality midcard.

Wow, that episode of NXT was dang good. Very impressed over all. This Bray Wyatt character seems a much better character than "Husky Harris" was. Also, loved me some tag team wrasslin'.
