Go to Brazzers, Punk. Go to Brazzers.

:o

So if Jarrett bought CHIKARA then will it still be CHIKARA? Say what you want about that company, but it had it's own identify and charm to it. They certainly didn't shy away from gimmicks or storylines. That's why I appreciated CHIKARA despite them having too much comedy for my taste at times. It stood out as less generic than the majority of it's peer companies.

Just realized I've been meeting wrestlers for 10 years now. There's too many stories to tell, but the highlights of my decade of encounters:

- flexed biceps with Hulk Hogan

- got a hug from Ultimate Warrior

- Bret Hart shook my hand

- Piper put me in the sleeperhold

- Ventura gave me a fist bump

- got a hug from Iron Shiek who got up from his wheelchair to do so. I didn't ask him to do that.

- got a shout out by Rock for wearing one of his old shirts

- Cena remembering my name because I met him so many times

- got a whole bunch of wrestlers to pose with the Winged Eagle WWF Championship

- Lesnar signed my Wrestlemania 19 DVD when he was the UFC Champion

- Styles gave me a plate of spaghetti

- gave Victoria a rose

- Jericho got me a drink

- bought drinks for Sgt. Slaughter, Gerald Brisco, Rick Martel, Honky Tonk Man, and Ricky Steamboat

- sat and talked with Dupree and London at a restaurant. Rene offered me some of the shrimp he ordered.

- Valentine told me stories of his days in the ring back in St. Louis

- getting ribbed by Bradshaw and Patterson

Dude, if I had even done half of that list, I could die a happy man.

Well, I also met Francine because she wa signing autographs during intermission at an ECW show back in like 1999.

Shame you didnt get to meet Beulah back then...My gosh was that woman hot lol.

How do you even meet these guys?

- WWE signings

- TNA Fan Interaction

- Book signings

- Movie premieres

- Nightclubs (either advertised to host or fluke encounter)

- Public locations

- Conventions

- Behind the arena before or after shows. Had better luck during house shows since they're not much in a rush.

Twitter really helps, lol.

I was in like 9th grade at the time, and after I met Francine, I went back to my seat and looked at my uncle like "dude, you need to go see her. Her boobs are like the size of volleyballs."

- The expected wrestling promotion with Jeff Jarrett and country music star Toby Keith is said to be a long way from happening. The partnership came together when TNA was for sale and Jarrett went through his Nashville music industry connections trying to put together a bid to buy the company. The deal was reportedly very close at one point.

Bob Carter came to Keith to finalize the deal and the two sides were close on a price, although they were not quite there. The belief is they were going to hash it out but Carter only had one request in selling, which was that Dixie Carter would remain with her title, have some power in the company and remain a TV character.

Keith said he wasn’t going to buy the company with any creative limitations so the deal actually fell apart because Bob Carter in the end was going to protect his daughter. Someone in TNA close to the situation said, “That’s why we all are still here,” noting if it was about business, TNA would have never survived after the big move to primetime TV and the Hulk Hogan debacle failed to stop the company from losing money. At that point, the feeling was from Keith and Jarrett that they didn’t need to buy the company as they could start their own.

When this story got out within TNA, those who believed Janice Carter’s memo about not selling realized they had been had.

Regarding Jarrett and Keith’s promotion, one person with knowledge described it as being in step 1 of a 10 step project and that it would likely be late this year at the earliest before it’s off the ground.

Hey, I've got a question for any New Yorkers/New Jerseyans, or anybody who knows the area.

I was actually planning a vacation to NYC in the spring to see Michelle Williams on Broadway (yeah, yeah, have your fun ) but then I noticed my trip coincides with Extreme Rules at the Izod Centre.

For a tourist staying in Brooklyn, and not brining a car, how difficult is it to travel back and forth between the venue and where I am staying?

That's likely what caused Jeff Jarrett to resign from TNA.

not a lot has changed in the past week. Punk walked out on 1/27 in cleveland, about 30 minutes before the raw television show was going to go on the air. There have been a lot of claims as to why, including reports claiming he was mad dave bautista returned and was getting the wrestlemania title match at randy orton (which would contradict what he said in an interview with ariel helwani a few days earlier, where he said he was fine with that).

Those close to the situation say that people looking for a singular reason or a simple reason are missing the point. Nearly everyone who knew him reasonably well said that they knew he was going to leave. At one point, orton vs. Punk for the title was planned for wrestlemania, but that changed some time back. Some had noted to us that they didn’t believe he’d last through july, when the three-year contract he signed in 2011 would expire.

From those within the company, the talk is that vince mcmahon wants him back, because he is the company’s second biggest merchandise seller, behind john cena, and one of its key performers, plus was figured into a key wrestlemania match with hhh. Mcmahon is said to be the one who is going to handle this situation even though hhh, or paul levesque, as he’s really known by most who aren’t wrestlers, runs talent relations. Some have said that levesque felt that brooks walking out was unprofessional, and that the company didn’t need him or anyone. Others have noted that he can’t express that feeling and it’s best for him to stay quiet. Even though a guy walking out of a television shoot as a headliner and with no notice would be considered unprofessional, for him to express strong feelings would have people say he’s putting his personal wrestling angle ahead of business. A key is that punk made it clear that a match with hhh was not a match he was interested in at wrestlemania. This is in a sense is a slap in the face of hhh as a performer.

The reality is that a match with hhh, because of his power and long-time stardom, is guaranteed to be one of the key pushed matches on the show. On the flip side, if punk was going to leave in july, which was his plans, it really wouldn’t make sense for punk to beat hhh, who is going to stay, and who, while not a full-time wrestler, will remain a key performer with the company for years to come. And even if hhh doesn’t want to win, he’s very well versed in both promos and matches at not really putting people over, even if he does get pinned in the end. And the reality is, if punk is leaving, there is no reason for hhh to put him over past pacifying fans for the moment while not building the next step, unless it’s to build for a return where hhh does go over.

I envy you. :cmad: I met Matt Hardy at a IHOP on my girlfriend's birthday.

You met Matt Hardy at a restaurant?

Are "Matt Hardy is fat" jokes still relevant these days?

I met Rey Mysterio backstage at a house show for which I won front seat tickets. He signed my program and a photo print as well as took pictures. He was awesome. I also met Kevin Nash at a convention here in Miami. He was charging for pictures and signatures. I didn't pay for anything but he was still nice enough to talk to me for like 5 minutes. I told him I loved him as a member of the wolfpac when I was a kid and he was also a part of my childhood as Super Shredder. He told me how they built the costume and a story about how the kliq took turns ****ting in King's crown as well as ****ting on Sunny's lunch. When he got a little busier we said goodby by doing the Kliq/NWO handshake. I also met Mean Gene at a Mall signing.

Oh, and if we're talking encounters with wrestlers, I met Rob Van Dam at a convention in London and got a signed comic book from him.

Who sells the Most Merchandise in WWE,

- The February 10th WWE RAW from Los Angeles has not sold out yet but should soon. The February 11th SmackDown taping in Ontario, California is also close to selling out, which is rare for a SmackDown taping.

- In regards to WWE’s top merchandise movers, John Cena is still far and away at #1 while CM Punk is far and away #2 overall. Punk is the #1 seller on WWE’s shop website. Daniel Bryan is said to be the #4 highest seller.

Two names that are near the top of the merchandise sales right now are Sin Cara and The Ultimate Warrior, whose stuff is selling well at events and online.

Ya know, Maybe Bryan could be number 1 Merch seller with some better looking shirts that dont have goats on them......Just saying .

You're spot on, Bryan needs some cool merch, they should have a #YESmovement shirt by now and they should start using the logo from his trunks, he should also start wearing his jacket to the ring again for PPV's and they could sell them.
