Goldberg can have a good match when he's paired with the right guy. His matches against Hogan, Page, Helmsley, Maivia, Regal, Steiner, Vicious, Jericho, Booker, and Saturn speak for themselves.

Eva and Jaxx are flat out horrible. Jaxx would be passable if she never spoke and had a good manager.. EM just needs to drop off the face of the planet.

I wouldn't mind Goldberg having one more match, I miss him sometimes and it'd be interesting to see new interviews with him on the wwe network like for a wwe 24 episode. Plus it would increase the chance of him being in a wwe game again.

I understand the lack of desire to see him again. But eh you can just skip the match. Go for more snacks or something if it's a WM match and you're watching it live on the network or some stream.
But it just seems like such a waste of a match though. An older, out of ring shape Goldberg vs an older, out of ring shape Taker.

Maybe if this was 10-15 years ago, and Goldberg was as big as he was in WCW, maybe. But not in today's age.

The same can be said about of lot of going, going way back to Warrior, to Reigns today. They're in good matches because the guys they're up against know how to carry a match by themselves and tell a good story.

Sure Undertaker can definitely do that as well, but I feel like it's just far too late for that kind of match. When I think of Goldberg, I think of the sloppy guy who ended Bret's career. I don't expect him to be much better now considering he's been out of the business for what, over 10 years?

I just don't care about one match a Year Taker... The one thing about him that was mildly interesting is over.. So.. I wouldn't mind Goldberg getting a finale send off and HOF induction.. But not looking forward to a possible match with Taker..

Absence makes the heart grow fonder and his DVD outsold both Triple H's and Mick Foley's so the demand is still there. If Cena can't make it back in time and with Sting out with an injury, you'd want a dream match to help sell out Cowboy Stadium. He said in an interview, this is the match he'd want to have since Austin retired.

Sucks that Austin had to hang of the boots forever.

I think he and Undertaker would have had an awesome double retirement match at WM.

Cheeseburgers t shirts were sold out in Japan.

The idea that Sami Zayn is El Generico is just as crazy as Hulk Hogan is Mr America.

if goldberg comes back he has to face ryback. i mean its kinda obvious especially seeing as ryback is now just wearing black trunks

In an awesome troll move, WWE used
AJ Styles's theme ("Evil Ways" Justice Mix)
for the Wyatts Vs. Team Ryback build-up video!!! :woo:

I don't have much of an issue with Goldberg vs Taker given WWE's current circumstances. I give zero craps about it in 2016 but others will because they don't need much beyond names to get them interested. If the build is actually fun and the match is decent WWE should consider that a win because there's no chance in hell current Undertaker is having an amazing program with Bill freaking Goldberg.

Big Show made some valid points on Austin's podcast about why he hasn't retired yet, why he turns so often and why he feels he's an asset to the company in a way..but he shouldn't be main eventing unless it's to put oversomeone in a big way like Strowman should have beaten him clean.

Wow, young Sami must have been watching Generico on his little rabbit ear TV, hoping to be just like him one day. Awesome tribute he pays. Maybe one day, he'll get to meet his hero in Mexico, along with Kevin Steen & his hot wife and bison, and maybe help some orphans, too.

Sami found a smart way to keep El Generico

Strowman has no business main eventing RAW let alone facing Undertaker at WrestleMania (thank god that has apparently been switched).

I'd rather Taker vs. Angle rather than Goldberg.

I would not be surprised at all if Johnny Gagarno was involved in the Cruiserweight Series.

Hell, I would not be surprised at all if half of the series involved guys from Evolve.

My buddy Adam's favorite wrestler is Goldberg. He hasn't watched wrestling in probably a decade but he knows I like it and we always talk about old school WWF and WCW. We have an inside joke where he always asks me if Goldberg came back yet. The joke has taken on a life of its own where Goldberg will randomly be inserted into any of our daily conversations.

The fact that Goldberg could be facing Undertaker (if that's even a serious rumor) makes me both cringe and extremely happy.

Cringe because I couldn't care less about that match. Lesnar already defiled the allure of "the streak" so who cares at this point.

And extremely happy because I can actually say to my friend, "GUESS WHO RETURNED ON RAW"

Oh my inner turmoil!

This. Agreed on all points. Would have been cool ten years ago.

Btw Wheels, would you Sticky the 2016 prediction thread please?

Is Hideo Itami/Kenta's injury that serious or is did he get released?
Last I read, his injury hasn't healed properly and is making rehab difficult, which was getting him extremely frustrated. He won't be back any time soon.

I would add a second prize to go with the trophy if the winner is someone who already has a contract with NXT/WWE:

- The winner gets a future NXT Championship match.
I thought I added that, but I guess I didn't. Future title shot for sure.

Go to Google translate. Type in "Sami Zayn" and translate it into Arabic. Then copy and paste the Arabic words and translate that back into English.
I read that, but it's a fun joke. The thing that is real, Zayn's "SZ" logo is meant to represent his mentor, El Generico's mask.

He's living the dream. That reminds me I need to watch more ROH, but I only do so whenever they cross promote with NJPW.

The only reason to have Show in the ME was to lead into the Austin interview.

Austin had the most perfect retirement match. You can't ask for a better one.
