So who are Y2AJ facing at WM? Only worthy teams for them at mania are Dudleys or New Day for the titles.

Reigns is a horrible babyface.

I'm aware of that but Triple H getting cheered still isn't good. The segment was a complete failure in what it was supposed to accomplish. Triple H, who has always completely sucked as a solo babyface and been a better heel, is getting cheered because WWE's chosen babyface is a flop. Thats not a good segment, it's a pathetic failure by WWE that's only value comes from laughing at it.

I didn't have enough hostility or sympathy for Reigns to get into it. There's no one worth getting behind in the feud in my opinion.

When Rollins returns, Will they still go with the original plan of having him be a top face? Instead of facing Trips, I'm guessing there will be a double turn with Reigns going heel and Rollins the top face as they feud for a while. Probably starting at Summerslam

Christopher Daniels as Deacon in the Waterworld stunt show at Universal Studios.

IMO, if you change out Reigns for Ambrose, that ending for RAW would have been a huge heat-grabber for Triple H.

Especially if you end it with Ambrose bleeding and screaming "not dead yet" (or something) after Triple H walks up the ramp feeling triumphant.

TNA's Lockdown episode was really good. What sorcery is this? The only weak point was Eli Drake vs Grado. Even Matt Hardy winning wasn't bad because the match was booked really well with EC3 looking like a million bucks and Matt looking like the desperate guy who knows he can't hang. That's the way it had to be booked because Hardy's best days from an athletic standpoint are wayyyyyy behind him. He definitely required help if he was going to win. Every segment with The Decay was pretty cool. I like Jade very much and Rebel has potential; The Dollhouse gimmick is still enjoyable. Pretty much everything was entertaining so I'm wondering how long it will take Hell to thaw out.

I love Roman's "post-surgery" pic. Kinda hard to believe after we saw Cena fight with a legit broken nose.

I see his return going exactly like Triple H's return from surgery. He left as a heel, but he returned as a huge face. But shortly after, he was turned back heel because that was the role they needed from him.

So he'll go back to being a heel, but he'll still be super over.

Halloween Havoc 1996 a.k.a. How Not To End A PPV

After Hollywood Hogan defeated Randy Savage in the main event, Roddy Piper made his WCW debut, which would've been exciting if they had ended the PPV right there with Piper standing in the aisle as Hogan looks at him scared to death to build excitement for their feud starting back up.

Instead, Hot Rod comes to the ring and they both start talking to each other on the mic, trading barbs and what not. Piper is taking too long talking and Hogan tries to cut him off so they can go home, but The Rowdy One keeps rolling because he wants to have the last word.

This ending promo segment goes on for 8 minutes, but feels like an eternity up to the point where they run out of air time with Schiavone repeatedly telling the viewers they have to go. You think they would show what Piper had to finish saying on the following night on Nitro, but they didn't.

It was just bad, boring, and took the wind out of the sails if you were at home watching. Say what you will about WWE, but I'm just glad they never did this with their shows. Talk about a buzzkill.

I want to be disappointed it's a blood capsule, but it was such a damn good ending and well played out scenario on TV I'm gonna give it a pass. Reigns sold it like his face was broken, good enough for me.

I feel the same way. It was some damn compelling television.

But oh man, imagine if it were Ambrose instead.

:hmr:

I can see that as well. But it can be remedied if they do turn Roman or Ambrose heel. Either way, the arena will explode when Rollins returns. It will be glorious.

It would be super difficult to have Ambrose turn heel.

His character is such that he'd probably get cheered regardless of his actions.

Ambrose is over in the level of Stone Cold. Face,Heel or tweener he's going to be loved.

Roman is like Bo Dallas, a heel who thinks is a face

Not even remotely close to be true....

The bar has been lowered by fans, because the only person that's come close to being as over as Austin, Rock, or Hogan was Daniel Bryan.

I wouldn't even say Ambrose has reached the level of Punk.

Don't forget Jeff Hardy in 09. Was getting massive pops.

I was mostly thinking of guys currently or recently on the roster, but yeah Hardy was getting huge pops in 09, but even as big as those where they weren't on the level of Austin, Rock, and Hogan at their peak. Hell the pop Rock got when he came back to WWE after all those years was bigger than anything we'd heard in nearly a decade.

Ok that makes a bit more sense, but even that's more of a function of there being a lack of quality faces right now. He's a well fleshed out character in a sea of bland baby faces.
