Say what you will about Nikki, and say what you will about Divas with implants, but I have to admit her's are not bad.

Also I've never been this down on wrestling. I have the network and I can't even bring myself to watch fast lane. I'm trying to get excited about WM , but it's just not there. I've watched my whole life , even during down periods. I hate to complain like this , but Im starting to climb aboard the boat

As much as I wish I could get excited about WWE, I share your feelings, Bullets. I'm guessing we're headed to another bland 'Mania. If one or two matches are memorable, we'll be lucky.

Really? I'm quite excited for Wrestlemania. Haven't been looking forward to one this much since 26.

It's shaping up to be a very bland predictable Wrestlemania indeed.

Rusev will pound on Cena until he has his superman comeback and wins.

Sting will beat Triple H in his first WWE match.

Taker will beat Wyatt but I have a feeling that match won't be very good.

I can only assume Bryan's gonna go at it with heel Sheamus maybe?

Reigns is going to win the title. And I don't even have the feeling Rollins will cash in.

That Intercontinental ladder match could be fun. Seeing Taker and Sting's entrance will be cool. Um...that's about it.

I haven't watched any current wrestling in forever due to my hectic schedule. I only know what's going by keeping up with this thread.

Wrestling wise I've been going through my Edge dvd's. Almost finished Decade of Decadence, and still have you think you know me to go through. I'd forgotten about some the incredible matches he's had.

I hate this mentality that WWE sucks =/= all of wrestling sucks. This statement couldn't be anymore false. There are so many alternatives out there and easy to access it's crazy.

So much truth.

And even if the language barrier is a reason why some people won't watch foreign-based companies, there's still enough alternatives in English that we don't have to put up with WWE's main roster crap.

NXT is still worth watching.

Lucha Underground is a refreshing alternative that delivers nearly every week.

New Japan on AXS TV is a great introduction to NJPW and the the action and commentary is tremendous.

Even Ring of Honor is relatively easy to watch - I've started getting into it recently and catching up on their TV since Raw & Smackdown aren't offering me anything. Now is a great time to jump on since they're utilizing recognizable names like AJ Styles, Daniels & Kazarian, Alberto El Patron and Samoa Joe soon.

The best part about those four shows? Only 4 hours to keep up with weekly... so it's a nice & focused product that doesn't burn you out like 5 hours of Raw & Smackdown every week.

This is all the weekly wrestling I (and anyone else) needs all week. Hell, if Fastlane left a sour test in your mouth, check out the ROH 13th Anniversary Show Sunday on PPV. People like Alberto El Patron, Jay Lethal, Maria, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe etc. will be on the show and the card looks really side.

I am not sure if Mr pretend to go to Japan's comments were aimed at me but I am just burned out on the ******** of wrestling in general, I'm just tired of the crap, my love for the business is gone.

Plus people can throw out all of these promotions but bar NXT I find them mostly boring, so even if I was just looking to watch a bunch of random matches, the stupid style of NJPW and a lot of ROH does nothing for me, and I'm not some fangirl who goes overboard like a 12 year old at a Bieber concert about that goofy ****er from NJPW or the Pillman rip-off, I don't care about most wrestlers working today outside of 2 or 3 and they happen to work for WWE.

:funny: So now you suddenly rate Bertie as worth paying to see because he's working for peanuts in a dump in front of a small crowd? and what does Maria have to do with anything? PPV's are not sold on seeing a hot chick.

Hunter, have you seen any of the work Alberto has put in since leaving WWE? His intro promos on both ROH & Lucha Underground were both fantastic and full of fire that you never really saw from him in WWE. I can understand why some people don't think he's all that interesting, but I think his booking did him a terrible disservice. His work inside the ring was always solid though, heel or face.

EDIT: And again, I can see why some people might not be all that into promotions like NJPW & ROH if storylines/promos/backstage segments are something you like from your pro wrestling. What they do well is wrestling, and that's ok. For me, they're good alternatives to the largely homogeneous WWE style. In my opinion, Lucha Underground does the best at incorporating a different style of wrestling and the soap opera elements of American pro wrestling.

I've seen the vids, his stuff is ok, he always was very good in the ring, I'm not anti-Del Rio, I was commenting on the hypocrisy of how the same poster now citing him as a reason to buy a PPV talked nothing but **** about him for his entire WWE run.

I thought his ROH debut against Christopher Daniels was awesome. It feels like a different person entirely.

Truth.

I am not, nor have I ever been an indy or Japan guy. I will watch once in a while. Hell, I've gone to numerous ROH shows in Chicago and follow along a bit with their shows but I find most indy shows to be boring, or just booked completely randomly.

Japan's style of wrestling is cool but the language barrier is huge to me as I can't follow along so I have no idea what is going on even when I try to read up and figure out feuds.

I look at Japan wrestling the same way I do the Transformer films, looks awesome as hell, but since I don't know/understand the back story I just really have a hard time caring.

Been a WWE guy since I was like 5, thats a quarter century of brand loyalty, and that loyalty hasn't been rewarded in years and I am just burned out.

Bryan deserves better than either match.

Bryan's the most over guy after Cena, and he might be in a midcard title match. If the IC title was actually prestigious, it wouldn't be as annoying. But the belt has no credibility, the champion constantly loses.

The placement with Reigns and Bryan really should be reversed. He belongs in an IC title match, not Bryan.

Well Cena's in a midcard title match too :p But I get your point and I'm in no way defending the Roman Reigns ********. Bryan/Lesnar is my dream match for Wrestlemania. I'm just trying to look at the bright side and an awesome ladder match involving 4 of my favourite wrestlers is pretty bright.

At this point, I think turning Rollins face at some point would be a brilliant fail-safe if Reigns, you know, fails harder than he already seems to be.

He's getting the mainstream attention and is a Punk/Hardy/HBK/HHH hybrid that would be super successful as a top face when the time comes. Remember how over he was as a face near the end of his Shield run when they would go ape**** for his offense?

The Sky is the limit for the guy plain and simple.

With all that said, if Vince is so arrogant that he thinks Reigns won't fail cuz he has "da look" then he needs to remember that if a guy like Orton(whom had far more potential and talent than Reigns) can fail a far as being "The guy" goes then Reigns isn't protected from failure.

:funny: Rollins played off Jon Stewart perfectly. Reminds me of those old movies where Bob Hope or Lou Costello would run afoul of someone double their size and tried to talk their way out of an asskicking.

I think they will have no choice but to turn him face. It's about 99% certain at this point IMO that Reigns is beating Lesnar (especially after Brock walked out Monday). If it gets really bad they may not hesitate to pull their Ace in the hole in the form of Rollins. The second he cashes in, people are going to mark the hell out for him and won't be able to look at him as a villain anymore.

2015 is more than likely going to be his year by default.

the rumours about reys release was creative couldnt think of anything to do with an old wcw guy who hid his face

ohh hi sting

Creative can't come up with anything good for anyone. I'm curious to hear the backstory behind Curtis Axel's recent Axelmania gimmick because it's working so well there's no way I'm convinced creative came up with something that good. It makes me like Axel more and more I see him.

:lmao:...just when I thought that tidbit was 3 month rule'd around these parts...

I see where you're coming from. WWE is the last major game in town, and as much as people love these alternatives, there's no Wrestling company that can match WWE's level of production or presentation. Which makes it all the more heartbreaking that the main WWE product sucks.

That Meltzer article really put in perspective for me. I got rid of the WWE network right after Reigns beat Bryan, and I'll probably stop watching after WM31. Right now, I'm just holding on to see how this Taker/Wyatt feud pans out.
