Batista has a good screen presence. He really killed it in Guardians . I'm excited to see what he does here. I'd like to see more wrestlers get opportunities like this. There's a few that could do really well I think.

Speaking of wrestlers branching out into other things, did that comic that Punk was writing for Marvel ever come out?

I understand it's supposed to come out this week, particularly yesterday.

Good article on Rollingstones

NXT, Where the Women Work

On the surface, the match between Bayley and Becky Lynch was nothing out of the ordinary: From first entrances – yes, both entrances were shown in full, a rarity these days for main roster Divas matches – to final bell, it spanned just seven minutes. But both wrestlers were over with the fans, and inside the ring

A ladder match with Barrett/Ziggler/Bryan/Ambrose etc. sounds like a show stealer to me. Not "cluster****y" at all. :whatever: Obviously it's not the ideal Daniel Bryan Wrestlemania match but at least it's more exciting than a Sheamus one on one.

Bryan deserves better than either match.

Bryan's the most over guy after Cena, and he might be in a midcard title match. If the IC title was actually prestigious, it wouldn't be as annoying. But the belt has no credibility, the champion constantly loses.

The placement with Reigns and Bryan really should be reversed. He belongs in an IC title match, not Bryan.

Really enjoying the Breeze and Itami feud.

Rollins on the Daily Show. Like I guessed, Stewart is going to appear at Raw in Jersey next week.

The only way the WWE signs him is if they totally change his family background to make him somehow related to every other Samoan Wrestler outside of Sonny Siaki.

Such as the WWE would make him related to The Usos, Roman Reigns and Tamina by probably making him related via marriage (ie they make up some story that he married one of their other cousins).

My 10 Favorite Mysterio matches:

Vs. Guerrero - Halloween Havoc 1997

Vs. Jericho - Souled Out 1998

Vs. Flair - Nitro March 1999 (Spring Breakout episode)

Vs. Angle - SummerSlam 2002

Vs. Lesnar - Smackdown 2002 (Halloween episode)

Vs. Michaels - RAW November 2005

Vs. Morrison - Smackdown September 2009

Vs. Undertaker - Royal Rumble 2010

Vs. Cena - RAW July 2011

Vs. Del Rio - RAW August 2011

Honorable mention: Vs. Liger - Starrcade 1996

I didn't care much for him as a WWE Superstar, but I am starting to like him as an actor.

I feel like the business changed him into a *****ebag, which is understandable given the grind and politics involved. I immediately noticed the difference after the World Heavyweight Title. He wasn't as friendly as he was when I met him when he still in Evolution.

He had a rough life growing up, but you take away the business aspect and the women, he does seem like a nice guy that you could have a beer with. He has great charisma and a likeable personality when he's being himself. His interviews show that.

He's more than likely going to be signed with NJPW so it doesn't even matter anyways. BELEE DAT.

There really is a sad but of irony to this. Vince wanted to blur the lines of reality and now it's hard to tell where Mr McMahon ends and Vince begins. It's almost like the character manifested into a human being and took over. Like a manifest destiny Triple H is on the board and could someday be the one to ask Vince to step down.

I used to have this theory that dirt sheets were actually something Vince wanted because the backstage antics could keep older fans invested. I guess it turns out these people really are that bizarre.

Also I've never been this down on wrestling. I have the network and I can't even bring myself to watch fast lane. I'm trying to get excited about WM , but it's just not there. I've watched my whole life , even during down periods. I hate to complain like this , but Im starting to climb aboard the boat

I deleted Fastlane off my Tivo tonight without watching it, I just can't stomach the bloated, arrogant, clueless company any longer. The best bet is to cut it loose and then there's no frustration factor or feeling like you wasted precious time sitting through their insulting junk.
