Well with anything online it is hard to determine where it came from in fairness unless you are capable and willing to spend the time backtracking it's origin, but I was meaning that Arquette's speech and the trending last night might have simply birthed this idea today, and when I mentioned Renee I was just meaning she re-tweeted it didn't she? She doesn't really seem the rebellious type, more of a professional company woman.

I could be wrong and AJ may just be following in her husbands footsteps out of the door, but Arquette's speech seemed to be the hot topic coming out of the Oscars and I am sure would have been something that resonated with Steph who is closer to the pulse than her dad.

I mean, it's wrestling so anything is possible. But from my observation last night the hashtag itself came from fans. Anything after that, including AJ's tweets, is up for debate about being a work or not.

Paige just posted something on her instagram about the whole subject matter too.

Yep.

Between this and #givedivasachance. It's good to see the divas get support.I don't think this is a work, but then again you never know with WWE.

Yeah. I mean an "inequality in the workplace" story line just doesn't seem like an idea WWE would have on TV. Especially since it's true.

Odds that Vince misses the point and books a hot fudge match?

Maybe I am giving to WWE too much credit but maybe they had the 15 second match to stir the fans ire so they could build an angle off it? Probably not and this may be nothing, but it does kinda seem that with Paige now chiming in that WWE are building an angle out of it. Btw did Steph just tweet about Arquette tonight?

But they've crapped on the Divas before. This whole thing last night happened organically. You can't book that. They'll have to skim over the worst parts to even incorporate it. They can't publicize bad pay for their women.

And Steph tweeted last night. AJ made her comments today.

It's wrestling though, are the women that badly paid? They aren't gonna get main event money but I bet many get as good a contract as a lot of mid card guys. They could just use the storyline however they want as blurring the lines is a thing Triple H seems to be all for.

Interesting that Steph tweeted after the Divas match fuss and not on Sunday after Arquette's speech was a hot topic.

Parts of today could have been a work. We'll see. Certainly since they've now responded everything will be.

It's certainly created some buzz at any rate and WWE tend to play into that if they can, I mean I agree with you that it's likely to be something they have stumbled into if it has become an angle, but something good could come from it as when WWE try to plan things out with their "logic" we end up with the mess that is Mania 31.

Those replies to AJ from Vince and Steph just scream condescending....especially from Vince. "Keep Watching"? Seriously F**K HIM.

Has there ever been a revolt backstage like this since Montreal when guys like Foley refused to show up out of protest? I mean, how many dirt sheet reports have there been in the past year about guys and gals having talent only meetings because frustrations were boiling over....? 3 times......4 times....? And we hear about guys like Cena telling them that mailing it in isn't the answer.

It does pose an interesting question.....with Cena on the backside of his career who exactly is going to be the next locker room leader when everyone there is just pissed off constantly? There's really no legitimate candidates. Orton def ain't. Show and Kane may have some stroke since they've been around forever but they may not have the ear of people that are fed up with being fed to them. The situation keeps getting worse and worse for the WWE. It's coming at Vince and the brass from all angles, financially, workplace morale and they're getting killed on the public image end too.

Wow, The fans and AJ got both McMahons to respond.

The "Keep Watching" isn't to AJ. It's a response to the fans who have bombarded all things WWE with #GiveDivasAChannce since last night. AJ drove the point home though.

The WWE will be dead within the next 10-15 years if they don't get their **** together. The fans will never let them create another Cena/Hogan type "guy". They either need to begin booking and writing competently, or kill their company through ignorance.

I bet it was a bizarre day today at Smackdown.

That's her official one. The fake one was @StephiMcMahon using the same avatar.
