it definitely felt more like a shoot based on the rumors about cena thinking about leaving
it was good to see someone finally call him out on his character's bs way of deciding his intentions for a match/ppv

I hadn't seen any rumors of Cena considering leaving WWE... who's reporting that?

And also...

I haven’t listened to Meltzer’s latest audio report, but from what I gather he’s saying that Joe is WWE bound and only working with ROH for five dates…

I hope Joe gets paid well by WWE because I have a hard time seeing him do anything significant on the main roster.

I find it crazy that Samoa Joe can be signed by WWE buy AJ Styles cannot.

I mean good for Joe, I'm happy for him, but I wish Styles could get a shot on the big stage given he's the only true star TNA can say came out of their company.

Curtis Axel Often Imitated, Never Eliminated!

#AxelMania

Heyman should of got a standing ovation after blowing the roof off with his mic skills.

To be fair, no terms of the alleged contract offer have been disclosed.

From here on out I'm speculating... I'm guessing there's a possibility they're offering Joe a similar deal to what they offered Styles. Really, what it might come down to is that Joe is willing to take a risk on making less money in the short term. Joe also supposedly has a decent rental property business, so maybe he's not as concerned with making his entire living on pro wrestling.

AJ also is a couple years older than Joe. It's not that big a difference, but probably enough for Styles to think that he needs to maximize his earning potential right now. I would have loved to see Styles in WWE too, but it's hard to argue he made the wrong decision based on his success over the last year.

I find the spear a tiresome move. IMO it only ever worked for two people and it seems like too many people try to use it.

I don't mind the spear, but I do find it odd that they haven't limited the rest of the roster from using it to protect Roman's finish.

Not that I've paid much attention to Big Show matches, but if I recall he was still using it on a pretty regular basis not too long ago (and definitely since Roman has been on the main roster).

Modern day WWE is kinda weird like that... they are still pretty archaic in the way they structure matches (restholds galore!), but you see lots of guys using the same moves as signatures now, i.e. the superkick. That hardly ever happened, as recently as 5 years ago too.

Am I the only one hoping that Lesnar totally gives no ****s at 'Mania, and refuses to carry Reigns, purposely making him look bad?

I was speaking more about the fact that WWE never made an offer to AJ, not that he chose to work elsewhere.

When AJ left TNA there was said to be no interest on WWE's part. Such a shame, as he has a all the intangibles to be a star and his look go nicely with their production values.

Very mixed thoughts about Samoa Joe possibly going to WWE. On one hand, he'll probably have a bit freedom down in NXT, but he's long paid his dues and should be main roster bound. On the other hand, he probably won't do **** on the main roster and become just another guy. It'll be another case of Vince not viewing the top guys in NXT as fitting their corporate mold so and make them look like top guys in NXT to appease the hardcore fans and do nothing with them on TV and hurt the competition who can use them better.

IDK, it's surreal that it might happen and I'll be happy for Joe, but maybe he should stay where he's at right now to benefit him long term?

Speaking of Joe, I am so hyped for this.

I hear ya. I don't really know what to make of the report that WWE offered AJ a deal in the 60k-70k range, but it seems to contradict what Styles himself has said publicly.

I have mixed thoughts as well. I liked Joe a lot at one point, but it was pretty clear he had lost motivation & faith in TNA around 2010 or so. If he's used correctly in WWE, he could be a breath of fresh air. I just don't have faith in that company to utilize anyone effectively at this point though.

From a selfish fan's perspective, I would love for him to work regularly in ROH, be the guy who takes out Suzuki-gun in NOAH, and make an appearance in the G1 tournament. But I'll be happy for Joe wherever he ends up, since he's a guy who's entertained me greatly and should have been a major star in wrestling.

I'd book Bryan to win the IC title match at WresteMania and then have Ambrose turn heel because Bryan stole his moment. Then, Ambrose and Bryan have a great feud over the title for a few months, Hell, give it major focus on Smackdown if you won't on RAW. I just want Bryan and Ambrose involved in something good, even if it's not the main event. The IC title will mean more than it has in a decade if you have Bryan and Ambrose in a feud that gets TV time.

So I saw the Chris Dickinson/Kimber Lee video from last night's Beyond Wrestling and I cringed. I know it's apart of Kimber Lee's schtick to wrestle men in intense bouts, but even that was taking it too far. IDK if she agreed to such **** or Dickinson went into business for himself and took it too far. Nevermind it being a guy on girl thing, even if it was dude on dude, it would make still me sick to my stomach. Dickinson has been wrestling for 12 years and in 2015 he's still giving out chair shots to the head. That got under my skin so much.

Sara Del Rey wrestled guys such as Brodie Lee/Luke Harper, El Generico/Sami Zayn, Claudio Castagnoli/Cesaro etc. in CHIKARA without any incidents whatsoever. And yes, Candice LeRae wrestled in a Guerrilla Warfare Match with the Young Bucks where one of the Bucks Superkicked her with a boot that had thumbtacks on the soles of the boot and she was bleeding. You could argue that was more over the top, but it actually fit well into the context of the story the match was telling. THIS felt like Dickinson was going into business for himself.

Pro wrestling is about creating art and TRUSTING someone to take you to a certain point. There is always a sacred TRUST in any locker room anywhere around the world. X wrestler gives X wrestler his/her body and vice versa. You are working together to tell a story. The goal i to not your opponent. First, the Act Yasukawa and Yoshiko incident and now this?

/Rant.

I agree with HUSTLE about Samoa Joe. Do more ROH and then head to Japan because there are some matches I want to see out of him like the upcoming ones he's scheduled for in ROH.

Anyway, this Raw was great and the smark crowd really helped. It's probably why I didn't really mind that it was so promo heavy. Heyman the God on mic and shooting somewhat. You can tell Jon Stewart is a fan because of the things he said (plus burying Reigns and putting Rollins over, plus planting the seeds for a future face run) and it was a much better angle than most celebrities are put in. Steph more or less shooting on Cena/Lesnar about WWE still standing if they leave. Rollins was great, I liked the IC Ladder match tease and I hope than when Truth is done wrestling he is put on commentary. I didn't expect Reigns to do that dive over the rope. Mizdow/Miz was great. Rusev is getting much better on the mic. The only thing I worry about with him is the direction he goes once the praise Russia, suck it America schtick is gone. It seems to me like he will be able to adapt.

I like that Axelmania is getting over, he's really pulling a BNB (before they deflated him once he returned from injury) by taking a stupid concept and making it work. Again, this is where the smark crowd really helped. I still love Wyatt promos, and now they actually have direction, which is good. Trips was good as always, although I felt the "firing" of Booker T was a little too much. Booker sold that **** like it was legit, and I'm glad Trips didn't bury him when he said just kidding, but put him over, which wouldn't have happened if it was years ago. AJ's back! So I'm guessing they will either compete in a tag match or four way at WM. Masters of the WWE Universe are great as always.

The main thing missing were the matches and no Rhodes Brothers feud.

So it looks like Mysterio is officially a part of AAA. I mean, he'll do short team sales/TV boosting, but what will be his worth after that exposure is over? How is Myzteziz (Mistico/Sin Cara) doing since his return? I stopped watching AAA and CMLL a long while back.

Stardust cut a promo on the app last night implying that he was going after the IC title. I hope that doesn't mean they're dropping the Rhodes brothers feud.
