It looked like he was going for a stretch, but he lost balance. Good save on his part though.

Felt like watching this again, and thought I'd share.

Y2J is the undisputed Champion? What? Thread

That Smackdown ending was :awesome:

Man, that was some great booking, a good match, and a subtle turn throughout the show. I like how that was done.

I'm telling ya, Bryan had me cracking up big time.

Bryan's mannerisms remind me of a heel HBK from 97.

With Roode and Angle, you have to remember that Angle opened his eyes to "selfishness." Angle will eventually go after Roode. Afterall, he called the title his in the promo.

The fact they are heels maybe allows for that I guess, but the whole segment felt forced as prior to that the only two with any connection was Roode and Bully.

I felt they were always wasting Kaz by not doing anything with him. He's barely been competing up until this tag tournament, and he can play a good heel. I think it will work for him, and he's working a program with Styles, so the matches will be great.

Jealousy and whatnot is the easiest catalyst. Plus, Daniels is there.

Daniels popping his head up after spending the last two months feuding with RVD also felt random, plus I don't rate Kazarian, to me this is all just a waste of Styles time, he should be in main event angles instead of the crash test dummy Abyss.

I agree with you about Gunner somewhat. I think he needs more development and he'll be pretty solid. As for EY, well, he's a solid worker and a comedy character. It works for him.

Gunner was ideal as hired muscle but nothing more IMO. The problem with EY is he gets too much time, he should be seen no more than Santino.

Heel Danielson
is great if they let him run with it.

This is the key phrase, IF they let him run with it. It's clear the idea is the title win has gone to his head, but if they keep booking him like they did against Show where he's still allowed to be a great wrestler and use his smarts then he could be an excellent heel champion . I'd have them go the full works, get him some suits as he's a champ now, have him treat AJ poorly but her stick with him, this all will add to the aura of him becoming a *****e and even puts things in place that could be used in a future face turn.

The Wrestling Thread Just Got Schooled By The Ultimate Woya

I saw nothing to lead me to believe D.B. is turning heel, maybe I'm seeing something different. Seemed like the same guy he always is but he just got a bit ornery when Big Show put his paw on his shoulder, no big deal.

This was probably posted already.. but..

The New York Post recently did an interview with Kurt Angle. The following are some highlights of what the former WWE star had to say:

"It was a complete career adaptation. It wasn't a step above, going from amateur wrestling to pro wrestling, it was going from real wrestling to sports entertainment," Angle said. "A lot of people put me up there as far as saying he's one of the best ever. And I've only been wrestling for 11 and a half years. I think that Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker, guys who have put 30 years into it deserve it. Me getting that praise after only 11 years—it's not fair.”

"When Jack Swagger copies my ankle lock and Randy Orton does my Angle Slam, it's disrespectful," Angle said. "I didn't come up with the Ankle Lock, Ken Shamrock came up with the Ankle Lock but I waited until he retired to do the Ankle Lock. That company has no respect for me."

The first time Angle cry babied about this didn't he instantly rush to Twitter after backlash to say someone hacked his Twitter account? Now he's crying about it in the New York post?

I really can't stand Angle anymore.
