Rollins' vacancy creates a great opportunity for Reigns. He can either continue to be the babyface de jure or he can be the absolute heel. It's a great opportunity for Ambrose too who, in the absence of Cena, actually has the crowd reaction to be the top face, but needs a heel to go against. The top babyface and the top heel are gone. They can fill those spots. They need each other right now, and they can make each other. Reigns as the muscle for the Authority fits his character better than face Reigns doing babyface comebacks. He's the bigger guy too which makes Ambrose look like the underdog. That feud would be money. Face Reigns hasn't succeeded at the level it should've, given the type of push he has had. This feels like the natural, organic path that the story should go which is why they won't do it. I think now is the time to put the belt on Reigns, because I can't see his momentum being better than it is now.
