Granted, 2011 was during one of my extended breaks from wrestling, but it just seems like, from what I have seen, he's never really been that over as a face or heel.

They had a good thing going with his face run, but of course, leave it to creative to ruin that.

I still do not think Reigns is ready for a WHC run. He should dominate as a upper midcarder first with a good run with the IC or US belt. At this point I keep the title on Rollins until WM and have him drop it.

Weren't people saying the same thing about Batista before his big push?

I think Reigns will be fine as long as WWE doesn't try and force him to be the smiling for no reason, baby kissing, bad joke making face. If they let Roman be a tough bad ass face he'll get over. The only reason fans started to turn on him in the first place was because they had him cutting those stupid promos and were booking him as being completely unstoppable and he kept going over guys way to easily.

I think Dean Ambrose possibly turning on Reigns in the future could help develop Reigns' character. He could truly go the path of "one vs all" and just become a silent badass with no allies.

If anyone here has seen the movie Warrior, Reigns could be like Tom Hardy's character, just walking to the ring, ruthlessly kicking ass, and then walking out without celebrating or sticking around for post-match interviews. Have him do that until he gets revenge on everyone who has wronged him, and then maybe after he wins the belt or is in contention for it, start slowly working some short promos back in.

I'd love Ambrose to turn heel because while he is a great face, he is a natural heel. Ambrose doesn't get enough credit actually. That man move up and down a card and even disappear while maintaining momentum.

I agree with Reigns turning heel. If the crowd boos Reigns regardless start making reasons to boo him. Ambrose turning heel on Reigns would just make fans cheer Ambrose more and continue the Reigns hate.

Reigns turning heel on Ambrose would give Dean something to actually do and it could be more personal than his feud with Rollins.

Basically make Reigns Baron Corbin.

I wish you would post more like this to be honest. We barely know anything about your views on wrestling because you just do stuff like the "CUT TO BLACK AND WHITE" gag and call Del Rio Del Taco. That's about it.

I'm a snark. I make fun of the puppets. And the strings. And the puppeteers. It's all a joke. All of it. Vince trying to make an inherently non PG product palatable to everyone from 6 to 60. If it wasn't so absurd, it would be funny.

This doesn't mean I don't have a well thought out opinion on the product. Quite the contrary. And it's that thought process that makes me point out the crap for what it is. I long for the days of complex nuanced stories the took months and sometimes years to play out.

Instead we get selfie sticks and a man who has no inherent talent beyond being Hispanic as the US Champ. It's enough to drive you as crazy as the Joker in The Killing Joke. It's more than a bad day. It's a bad decade in Wrestling.
