This sucks so bad. I love Rollins. Outside of Lesnar, he is my favorite on the entire roster. At least he can come back stating NO ONE beat him for the title. Since the brain trust have no faith in their current roster, I can see frantic phone calls to all the top dogs from the Attitude era to save them. Unless they modify their current deal and rush Lesnar back or SuperCena makes a triumphant return

He was good. Silent but intimidating. Batista has a very good screen presence. He uses his look and his aura very well. I'm glad he's succeeding in film so far.

If they going to go for a big name Brock Lesnar is the best option booking wise and financially. It makes sense from a booking stand point he go after the title again now his obstacle in the Undertaker is dealt with. Also WWE would make ton of money off him as WHC even though he would make a few appearances.

To whoever said just do the same thing that they did with Rock back at SS in 98, just with Regins, is totally right. The people who already hate him would now have a legit reason and the people who love him will turn on him the season he links up with the Authority. This is bad for Rollins but WWE has a big opportunity to do something with Reigns now.

Yeah that could totally work too. Reigns could claim he didn't need the authority to become WHC but will take their alliance with him as he has decided that sometimes you have to fight fire with fire to be successful, and can see now what Seth did but will not be a coward like him still. This way you get a good reason why Reigns would all of a sudden join forces with the authority and also separate himself from Rollins as far as heart.

The new WWE Champion could be crowned on Raw next Monday. Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio is reporting that backstage meetings are going on right now, and plans may change in regards to how WWE crown a new Champion. The company had announced a tournament for Survivor Series, but Alvarez suggests that big surprises could be happening as soon as Raw next Monday.


“There are meetings going on as we speak, there may be changes, there could be big surprises as early as Raw on monday,” the respected insider said.


This is following the news that Seth Rollins has suffered a knee injury that will keep him out for six to nine months. The timing really couldn’t be any worse for WWE.
Their initial reaction was to announce the tournament, with a new Champion being crowned at Survivor Series. However, it sounds like a bit of extra thought may have made them consider making the change sooner. A big angle on Raw, potentially with a new heel champion, would set up a big sell for a babyface like Roman Reigns pushing towards the title at Survivor Series.

I rather they do a deadly games tournament again to crown the new WHC. Do not think they should have a new WHC crown on RAW, why not the ppv its a bigger event.

Yeah, that's what I'd be going for. It's almost be too perfect, as like The Rock back then he has his reasons for turning. Reigns has genuinely worked his ass off this year yet he's still getting dumped on in certain locales, and then you'd have Bryan sauntering into the tournament as the firm fan favourite.

Reigns snaps, decides that if he's going to get what he's due he has to make a deal with the devil.

Yeah, Reigns has the same sort of meat to work with that Rock had and it will give him a chance to really branch out as a character, plus when Rollins returns they can build towards him facing Reigns at the next Mania. I know that seems too long term for WWE but Trips might be able to squeeze it past Vince.

I want Lesnar to enter the tournament, have a match with about three new opponents all in one night, win the belt. Then, he can appear again at the Dec. 19th house show and then the Royal Rumble, before dropping it at Mania to Ambrose or something. This way, he gets a run with no gaps in it with no defenses, and he can add legitimacy to the belt.

People are going to still freak out if Reigns goes over someone like Bryan or Cesaro. I'm not crazy at all about another Reigns/Wyatt match. I think for the most memorable, dramatic and storytelling purposes you go with Ambrose and Reigns in the finals.

Yeah, as things stand I'd put Deano in the final with Reigns. Have it be a ding dong of a match that goes back and forth, with the frustration on Reigns' face becoming visible at not being able to pin Ambrose. Authority eventually come down and interfere on Reigns' behalf and he wins.

There are elements of both Deadly Games and Stone Cold's heel turn in Texas that can be borrowed.

The long game is absolutely the way to go for Reigns' sake. History has shown us a good heel run can lay the path for a top face run. It also gives Rollins a convincing way to come back as a face, taking on the Authority that screwed him and a man in Reigns who has proven himself to be the biggest hypocrite of all.

Truth be told though they'll probably just have Reigns win and Sheamus cash in.

It's easy amongst all the speculation to forget the man who has suffered. Hopefully Seth will come back stronger for this setback but knee injuries are always bad. He is going to have to protect himself more and be smarter with his mobility.

I really think the Wyatt family should slowly grow and try to take over the WWE like Taker's Ministry did. It's just odd to me that a chaotic backwoods cult takes orders from people in suits literally called "The Authority".

I think the Authority have overstayed their welcome as it was a tired overused idea when it initially started. Though I'm not a big Rollins fan, I'm sad to hear about his injury. Though Bray doesn't necessarily need the WWE title to be a big threat, it still would be interesting to see him as champion.

What I see essentially happening at SS is the Wyatts lose to Team Taker...and come Monday the Wyatts are aimless and have no momentum once again. Because WWE can't move forward and loves to remind us how great the attitude era was.

If Roman beats Ambrose, Ziggler, or Cesaro, he'd be booed out of the building imo. I think with Bray it might be split, and he's definitely be cheered over Sheamuis.
