Even then that's not always the case. I have definitely seen PPV's (and I still see people complain about this kind of stuff to this day - I.E. Rock v. Hogan not going on last) where the "main" storyline doesn't go on last.
Last year's Wrestlemania, Edge v. Del Rio was certainly a bigger story going in, but the Snooki fest went on after that. Hell, the Snooki fest went on after Triple H v. Undertaker.
I've seen plenty of PPV's where the main story didn't go on last.
So when The Rock and Cena had their segment in the middle of Raw last night, that meant that Triple H v. Undertaker is Wrestlemania's main storyline this year?

They are talking about Chris Jericho v. CM Punk curtain jerking this year! That's one of the 3 or 4 main storylines they have going into Wrestlemania.

I never said guys who are over couldn't be helped by it.
I'm saying it's not needed.
Its always risky to do a rematch, but sometimes, it surpasses the first match.
It's valid point, but then again, Triple H Vs. Undertaker both came out of nowhere to wrestle each other last year and it was one of the few good things about the bleak WM 27 show.
Personally, I'd like to see Rock Vs. Orton and Lesnar Vs. Undertaker myself, but there is a lot of potential that could come from Rock Vs. Brock II. It would generate a lot of interest from fans as well as potentially new ones, the press would be great for it, it would obviously be a draw (may even be as equal or surpass Cena Vs. Rock) and the match would be good no doubt. As a businessman, Vince should definitely capitalize on it if the two are indeed interested in working with each other again. After all, they are good friends.
Isn't Wrestlemania this Sunday?
I'd watch a Shane match over his brother in law's any day of the week. Shane's SSP was picture perfect & he could take a crazy bump when he needed to.
No, the most hype was for Hogan vs Rock but Triple H vs Jericho had way more story build to it as Rock was missing for a few weeks after the match was announced due to the amubulance angle, and yet everyone knew it sill should have went on last, but politic H made sure he shot his own match in the foot by going on last. Snooki's match going where it did is called the piss break, they nearly always stick a divas or coemdy match between the two biggest matches on a Mania.
If you are the main angle you go on last.
And the point of HHH/HBK is...
If Shawn's gonna come back and wrestle, I can easily name a few guys that are better suited to face him than Triple H.
Also, is Triple H trying to avoid jobbing to the current stars? You know, the ones that will explain be leading the company he's going to run...
If Michaels has such an itch to wrestle Triple H why doesn't he just superkick a moose on his hunting show?
Same f***ing difference.
The moose had more sense than to give himself permanent brain and kidney damage with "Stacker 2."
Why does everyone like to make it seem like Triple H is always trying to bury someone or doesn't want to job to anyone. Triple H worked his butt off to get to where he was. It is funny how people forget the WWF/WWE tried to bury Triple H after that whole Kevin Nash/Scott Hall thing. I mean the push he was suppose to get went to Stone Cold and started the whole Austin 3:16 thing and Triple H was on his way out. Not only did he take that punishment for 2yrs he did it with out complaining and worked his way back to the top. I think all Triple H is asking of the new class is the same thing. And there is nothing wrong with that. And the point of HHH/HBK is...

It's because of that that I feel Triple H is forever paranoid about his status and position. Being held down due to politics I feel has made him hungry to keep himself as high on the totem pole as possible. Sure he worked his ass off to achieve what he has but he also worked his ass of holding others back so his star would shine. My biggest thing is how Foley made hunter look like a million bucks in early 2000. Hunter however felt the need to not only beat but look dominate in defeating Orton at WM 25. It's his own fears from past experiences that have made him into the person he is today. Why does everyone like to make it seem like Triple H is always trying to bury someone or doesn't want to job to anyone. You could say the same thing for Austin, Rock and Taker as well. With Triple H you have to earn his respect thats all just like the rest of the old guys. Orton earned his respect and Triple H now has no problem jobbing to him. Cena earned his respect. Just like Triple H had to earn Taker's respect as well. It's not about being afraid it is about respect. It's because of that that I feel Triple H is forever paranoid about his status and position. And if you look at the people you mention Punk, Hardy, Orton were all known to be problems in the locker and didn't have their respect during that time it wasn't until the matured that people started to take them seriously. Triple H has no problem losing to a person as long as he respects them same with the Rock, Austin, B. Hart, HBK, Taker and the rest of them. If they respect you they don't have a problem losing to you if not the won't it doesn't mater how over with the fans you are and they have earned the right to do that.Triple never really jobbed to Orton clean
At Wrestlemania 25 during Ortons big push Triple H made sure he won. Orton looked like a fool for 75 percent of that easily and only got the title off the Son in Law of Son in Laws in a screwy fashion. Chris Jericho has been his whipping boy for over ten years.
Punk, Hardy, and Orton were all hotter stars than him at one point and he made sure he stuck to them like a leech looking for lifes blood. Theres a reason Edge avoided him as long as he could.
The handful of younger guys Triple H has put over clean are his buddy Batista and Cena. His insecurity is amusing since he was never the draw of Hogan Austin or Rock. He was always second tier. He was never the talent that Flair and Michaels were, and unlike HHH they didn't have problems jobbing later in their careers.
What the???Does Triple H want to retire to Shawn Michaels? Its the ONLY reason I could see HBK coming back to wrestle HHH. And why would it be the main event again?
Boy we talk about a bunch of old stars hogging the main event but this is getting ridiculous. Of ALL the matches HBK could come back for HBK vs HHH is the one I have the least interest in. They feuded for like...2 years.
If Rock is so interested in coming back next year announce Rock vs HBK a year in advance and watch that sucker sell out in 5 minutes. Even then I'm shocked Michaels is going to pull a Terry Funk on us and unretire. Like I said they only reason I can see him doing this is to work with his best friend one last time.
You should and most often do but when Triple H is involved we get Hell in the Cell (2009) Degeneration X vs Legacy. I was almost shocked that went on last and this was back when title matches didn't curtain jerk but Punk /Taker opened the show.
